Is anyone watching this? I’ve switched on now and then as like the camp chats. There is one guy in, never heard of him, however don't know most of them, who seems of very fragile mental health.

Or Jane Moore grin

Kate1949 Tue 26-Nov-24 17:56:32

I can't stand Jane More.

Aveline

So why not have Wayne Rooney on the programme then? Oh wait, he doesn't need the publicity!
Re the 'sisterhood'- I like Jane and GK and Maura I just don't subscribe to the 'Colleen is great' mantra.

Wayne Rooney is the manager of Plymouth Argyll football club, it is mid season and he couldn’t get time off.

Yes, he's often on Devon news. Not doing amazingly, his team I mean! 😔

Wayne Rooney is a footballing legend. Youngest scorer in history for England at 17 and the youngest goal scorer in the Euro’s at 18. The pressure on him was immense from such a young age, and he’s a very lucky man to have Colleen by his side.

Kate1949 Tue 26-Nov-24 17:29:50

I'm married to a football fanatic!

Anniebach Tue 26-Nov-24 17:17:29

Thank you, I know nothing of football, went to one match 60 years ago and believed my cousin when he told me - the linesmen were counting the crowd watching!

Kate1949 Tue 26-Nov-24 17:04:06

Yes Annie. He played his first game for England when he was 17.

escaped Tue 26-Nov-24 17:03:30

Yes, Wayne was 17. I think it was Everton he played for??
Footballers can sign professional contracts at 16 years. A lot of top notch clubs will already have an idea of who they want to sign up from Junior Level teams.

Agree there are lots of spouses of well known people who wouldn’t be in the position they are in without the marriage, such as various Princesses, Queens etc. Coleen, met Wayne at school and was only 16 in her school uniform when she was being chased by photographers. The documentary about her showed she is an intelligent kind person who puts her family first. Wayne maybe talented footballer, but she is the brains.

I am curious, why was she photographed aged 16, was Wayne Rooney a top football player aged 17 ?

Anniebach Tue 26-Nov-24 16:46:08

Why jump on fellow posters ? can everyone not have and share
their opinions?

So much for 'the sisterhood', why are we tearing other women down? sad

I really can't believe it!

And also, as this is a celebrity thread, with a little Strictly input, it should be pointed out that dancers don't have to be "lithe". Ok, maybe if you want to be a graceful ballet dancer, but other genres of dance require you to be strong firstly, and also liberating in your movements. I thought Oti was a great teacher of the rumba!

Anniebach Tue 26-Nov-24 16:27:52

Paddyann54 why must you turn a thread discussing a tv
programme into hate filled bile ?

paddyann54 Tue 26-Nov-24 16:17:25

And yes ANNIE I,m a republican it's not a disease just common sense

Fleurpepper Tue 26-Nov-24 16:16:34

Do people over the age of 20 watch this stuff?

paddyann54 Tue 26-Nov-24 16:16:21

Of course waity Katie and Colleen Rooney can be compared ,except Colleen and Wayne were a couple since school days and Kate hung around like a bad smell until it couldn’t be ignored….or her mother couldn’t e ignored as the story goes her Mama was insistent she waited until his wild oats were sown!!!
What kind of motherdoesthat. and what kind of modern woman would comply ?

paddyann54 Tue 26-Nov-24 16:12:22

Oti has a young baby …aren’t folk on here prone to manning about young mums who are back in a size 6 within weeks now it seems one young mum who hasn’t followed that trend is HUGE…?

Anniebach Tue 26-Nov-24 13:56:52

A republican ,

Commonground Tue 26-Nov-24 13:25:00

They are both women whose celebrity is entirely due to their choice of spouse.

GrannyGravy13

Also I do not think Oti is huge Aveline , she is the same build as her sisters.

Are you joking here? If not, you have got the wrong end of the stick!

Anniebach Tue 26-Nov-24 11:54:39

One cannot say the same for The Princess of. Wales , her life
cannot be compared to a wife of a sportsman
