Any time I catch someone implying that anyone with this viewpoint is not that bright - I instantly start thinking of channels like this (without getting into the list of jobs apparently suitable personally). I think anyone would recognise to get to be a barrister = he's not daft. Add if one watches it very often - he refers to his wife (and that she isn't British). So someone who is provably intelligent and provably isn't racist and he does make some useful points sometimes.

Regarding his wife not being British etc - I watched a wide range of people being interviewed on the streets of Leicester, which we all know is one of the most multicultural cities in the UK.

There were Asians, West Indians, Polish, Lithuanians and several other nationalities and every one of them said the brakes should be put on people arriving on rubber dinghies. So it’s a misconception that only white British people want this sorted out and certain people can call them racists.

My best friend is from Tanzania and she is 100% against people arriving here illegally. She did things properly about 20 years ago and followed every rule as did all the people above, who I mentioned.

I've gathered that as well - ie that many legal migrants are just as anti the "boats" coming over. It's one thing if people are doing things properly/the official way and trying to integrate. Where I live now - even though it's vast vast majority British people here - a lot of the people I am friendly with here are some other nationality (as that's just what the area is like - ie small town in West Wales and, as a half-British friend I have said "Most people local to here have relatives here and went to school with each other"). So most of us who aren't "locals" often tend to get together with each other (because we don't have relatives here and/or didn't go to school here).

One of the most vociferous YouTubers against all this is Magyar Tousi (an Iranian engaged to a British woman - who describes himself as British - because he has a British passport) and boy does he word things strongly...

Yes, I agree. Looking for a fight. Maybe should stay @home?

Added to the above we have the EU exporting 10,000 tonnes of Bee killing insecticides a year to poorer countries because this poison is banned in the EU.

Admirable in its own way petra but that was 4+ years ago.
Covid was rife (no vaccinations even).
Lockdowns were only just loosening a little.
I imagine security therefore was a tad easier to uncover passages of people.

Look at this week’s movement of irregular migrants and weep.
Over 1,300 this week alone to the UK.

At £400 each per day they will cost us:

I'm also a fan of Daniel, valid opinions from a point of law, does an excellent job of informing that which escapes many.

Actually racist isn't only a term for white british people - it's about the views not the ethnicity. So someone of pakistani descent or afro-caribean descent, for example,can hold racist views ( in the same way that they can be antisemitic) & if they do it is correct to refer to them as racist.

Yes, we know that, and there is a commitment for deportation which cant happen overnight.

But I really thought it was a about time in my post and picture for a reminder of why we have a proud history of asylum and it is very much needed.

Many of the countries that people are leaving are NOT war zones.

Today’s figures are 1300 people have crossed the channel in dinghies since Christmas Day. That does not include today’s arrivals. While the weather stays calm more will be queuing up to come.

Albanians are at it again. They are advertising special offers to get here. I think it said £2,500. It seems they are still one step ahead of our Govt.
