Anyone watching this ?
I really enjoy this programme and I m looking forward to this new series
Did it come up to your expectations last night, a little twist at the beginning getting some folk off the train but will they be back??
Have they chosen the right traitors ? I am just trying to get the various names in my head I saw Linda’s reaction on Claudia’s word ‘Traitors’ and thought, ‘ah ha’ but didn’t realise it had been seen by any of the others (but it had)

While I enjoyed the final episode, I did think 'The Seer' twist actually spoiled the ending. Once The Seer had revealed the status of the contestant selected, it became pretty obvious how it would play out with the remainers. Still, they have to come up with ideas to keep it fresh. Perhaps selecting a Traitor, who does not join the others, but remains anonymous would be fun especially if the others try to murder that contestant and they keep turning up at breakfast. Perhaps they could have a secret final stamp of approval, or not, over those chosen by the main group of traitors to be murdered. I'd like to see a bit of uncertainty in both groups.
As to a celebrity series, probably best to have relevant unknown celebs, as well known ones will already have their cards marked by the public as to degree of honesty. My first thoughts were Boris and Bercow.

I think I read somewhere there is to be a celebrity version, be great if it were interesting people, would love to see Victoria Coren Michell, Stephen Mangen etc, but prob be younger not so bright so called celebs, who would you like to see in the castle?

It’s both fun and fascinating and I look forward to the next series, all human life is there, as they say.

I did enjoy this series though and will aim to watch again next year.

Like a lot of this type of show, the first series and possibly the second one, still have novelty value. After that they do become a bit predictable.
I also liked Alexander and Frankie.

Aveline Sat 25-Jan-25 07:08:16

It was a shame that Alexander and Frankie were banished at the last minute. I don't mind Jake but not happy about that other winner!

NotSpaghetti Sat 25-Jan-25 04:56:22

I agree BlueBelle and think the show was skewed against him from the beginning. However, he didn't help himself when under fire by trying to explain more complicated ideas!

BlueBelle Sat 25-Jan-25 04:33:13

Well that’s that then
I enjoyed it but not as much as first and second one
I liked Alexander best out of the last group standing
Wasn’t so keen on the winners ummmmm

NotSpaghetti Sat 25-Jan-25 00:16:17

I think it was predictable after the "Seer" thing.
Sadly.

I won’t do a spoiler, but what a nailbiting finish to it.

I want Frankie to win. She has come from behind. You hardly noticed her in the early episodes.

Oh dear !

Noooooo. Barbie mustn't win a bean!

😂
It will be an exciting watch tonight!

Aveline Fri 24-Jan-25 17:08:36

I like Alex, Frankie and Charlotte

keepingquiet Fri 24-Jan-25 16:58:35

Last night with the 'seer' award was a great twist. Can't wait for the expose with Frankie and Charlotte tonight. What brilliant television.

I think Charlotte is losing her cool and yes, I'm hoping for Alex to win but don't know how he can.

I think Frankie will turn out to be really ruthless.

Devorgilla Fri 24-Jan-25 16:54:13

Looking forward to tonight's episode. I so hope Charlotte does not win. I didn't like what she did to Freddie. Yes, she has played a good game but I would like to see her lose out at the last hurdle.

Aveline Fri 24-Jan-25 12:49:18

I just want Leeanne to be out. I know it's too late though. As Oreo wisely stated she has the thin skin of Donald Trump. She can happily dish it but can't take it.

annodomini Fri 24-Jan-25 10:50:17

Charlotte is what the game is all about. She has managed to pull the wool over everyone's eyes by keeping quiet and nodding in agreement during the Round Table discussions. Clever and crafty - is she heading for a fall? Oh I do hope so!

Oreo Fri 24-Jan-25 09:59:05

I don’t care who wins, it’s the game that counts😃

Parsley3 Fri 24-Jan-25 09:53:04

Poor Frankie. She is so convinced that Charlotte is a faithful and she is about to be shocked. I want a faithful to win and I don’t mind which one.

NotSpaghetti Fri 24-Jan-25 09:39:28

I hope people believe Frankie. 😟

shysal Fri 24-Jan-25 09:29:08

All I can say is 'poor Freddie'!!! What a slip-up!

I usually want the traitors to win, but not this time.

If anyone is interested, series 3 of the US Traitors starts next Monday on BBC3.

Oreo Thu 23-Jan-25 19:18:20

Parsley3

Poor Freddie. He knows that he is probably doomed for banishment now and they won't know that he has only just been recruited. Faux Welsh Charlotte is playing a cracking game.

Yeah she really is, which surprised me, but the best traitor would be Leanne as nobody wants to be verbally attacked by her by calling her out as a traitor. For a member of the armed forces she has the thin skin of Donald Trump.

BlueBelle Thu 23-Jan-25 19:09:17

I don’t want Charlotte to win I think she was cruel to Minah
(yes I know it’s dog eats dog) but I don’t think Minah would have done it to her but more than that I just don’t take to her and her phoney accent
I like Alexander I don’t like Frankie or Leanne very much
Freddie will go under the bus with the smiling assassin
