Anyone watching this ?
I really enjoy this programme and I m looking forward to this new series
Did it come up to your expectations last night, a little twist at the beginning getting some folk off the train but will they be back??
Have they chosen the right traitors ? I am just trying to get the various names in my head I saw Linda’s reaction on Claudia’s word ‘Traitors’ and thought, ‘ah ha’ but didn’t realise it had been seen by any of the others (but it had)

I love this programme. I think the right person was murdered last night. I always find myself wanting the traitors to win.

I enjoyed it last night and I’m already hooked . I did wonder if the evictees were really gone or if they were set up in another location. But one of them was interviewed on BBC Breakfast this morning. A rather eccentric character who loves to talk and sing. She managed to do both during the interview.

kittylester Thu 02-Jan-25 08:12:37

I found her quite irritating and wasn't surprised she got voted off.

We're some people thrown off early in the first series?

I think Linda will be found out.

Really love it and usually want the traitors to win but only like one of them this time round.

Gingster Thu 02-Jan-25 08:15:19

I enjoyed it but disappointed that any evictee won’t reveal if they were traitor/faithful. I loved to see the faces of the remaining contestants when they get it wrong.

Linda will be going for sure. Too chatty to start with !

Visgir1 Thu 02-Jan-25 08:39:36

Love it! I too thought Linda gave herself away, she will be voted off soon.
I'm also thinking the 3 who volunteered to leave the train might be back?

Aveline Thu 02-Jan-25 11:15:18

I hope Linda goes soon and also that other traitor in the skin tight clothing who never shuts up.

Patsy70 Thu 02-Jan-25 12:36:38

This is the first time I’ve watched Traitors, but am now hooked after seeing yesterday’s programme. I think Linda will go tonight, she’s suddenly become noticeably quiet, which will be picked up on. I also think Armani? (one of the two sisters) is loud and obvious, so expect her to be voted off soon. I, too, believe that the three evictees will be back at some stage.

J52 Thu 02-Jan-25 12:42:12

Hope this isn’t a spoiler, but do you think the 3 early leavers will come back later on? I do.
I love the Traitors.

J52 Thu 02-Jan-25 12:43:48

Sorry didn’t read the op properly

merlotgran Thu 02-Jan-25 13:18:29

I like watching it apart from the way OTT excitable behaviour at the beginning by the contestants. They’re like toddlers who have stuffed themselves with E numbers.

Aveline Thu 02-Jan-25 13:24:31

I so agree Merlotgran. The squealing and shrieking from what appears to be over made up and inappropriately dressed bimbos in the first episode was most off-putting. I'm glad I went ahead and watched the next one. There are some more mature sensible ones but most seem very young.

JaneJudge Thu 02-Jan-25 13:26:14

I can't re call watching this before but watched last night and it's riveting. Linda will definitely get found out, her face does all the talking!

Ilovedogs22 Thu 02-Jan-25 14:07:42

I'm very intrigued by this program but I can't watch it because I suffer from a severe allergic reaction to the disturbingly smug, creepy Claudia Whatsherface! She reminds me of the childcatcher in Chitty bang bang quite frankly but he was far more authentic. 🤫

shysal Thu 02-Jan-25 14:08:41

On one of the series from other countries that I watched on iPlayer, three people were sent home on arrival at the castle, but re-appeared later on. I am therefore expecting the same to happen this time.

The foreign ones are well worth a watch.

Parsley3 Thu 02-Jan-25 14:23:09

Armami has put herself on a sticky wicket by criticising the others. Roll on the next episode
Love Claudia.

kittylester Thu 02-Jan-25 14:29:10

I too love Claudia and her sense of humour.

Vito Thu 02-Jan-25 15:25:55

Absolutely love it. Thank you Bluebelle for starting this thread. It's a shame Yin was murdered, too intelligent I thought, she had to go.
I agree with others Linda will be caught, as will Amarnia.

mrswoo Thu 02-Jan-25 15:36:20

I'd never seen it before last night and I'm already hooked.
I think Linda will be gone very soon as she definitely gave herself away.
I'm intrigued to see how it all pans out

merlotgran Thu 02-Jan-25 15:36:50

Am I the only ones making notes? I’ve got a rubbish memory for names. 😂

shysal Thu 02-Jan-25 15:39:03

Does anyone watch the 'Ed Gamble Uncloaked' which follows at 9pm on BBC 2? Yin was interviewed, very interesting!

GrauntyHelen Thu 02-Jan-25 15:45:30

I'd have murdered Yin Linda gave herself away already.

kircubbin2000 Thu 02-Jan-25 17:41:57

The Ed Gamble programme was actually much more interesting.

keepingquiet Thu 02-Jan-25 17:52:06

A big fan but found the start most annoying. The beginning was frustrating, why didn't anyone of them think about drawing lots which would have been much fairer? The three who volunteered to go should go back in, but quite how I'm not sure.

The screeching was off-putting I agree, as was the obvious plying for attention. Anyone with any sense would know to go under the radar at the beginning.

Yin gave herself away too much by being the 'intelligent' one. I also found it interesting how the bias comes out too in the selection- the older women especially. Linda gave herself away too much by pretending to be a 'cool granny' or whatever. It fooled no one.

I have some I can't wait to see leave. Is Armani even a real name? The nasty guy with the beard is also one I am loving to hate, but maybe that's just my bias coming out too.

I am glad they are messing with the method a bit- otherwise it becomes too predictable.

Can't wait for tonight's episode!

Dollymixtures Thu 02-Jan-25 18:15:05

Yin, the one who was first murdered, was on the Uncloaked programme last night showing herself to be unbearable in my opinion. She started by saying she wasn’t clever and then monopolised the programme talking about how she judges on what people wear, how they speak etc etc. She herself had taken in much more clothes and shoes than anyone else as she needed to show herself off, I presume. She was dreadful, full of herself, obviously is intelligent but showed that she was definitely the right one off first. Apparently she was on BBC Breakfast this morning, singing and being much the same it seems.
