Oh, I love Sara Davies, my favourite DD, she is a warm and bubbly person. Doing a bit of catch up TV, saw her on Morning Life and new show 'The Big Idea Works'.

There's a also a saying 'speak as you find'. We did.

One of Trinny's short vids popped up on fb this afternoon. She did a quick demo of her morning make up routine. I like her! She's not afraid to show what she looks like first thing in the morning (not great but who does when they get older?), she makes fun of herself and she's a great presenter. What I don't understand is why women think it's OK to be so vile about other women. Why does anyone care if she's had "work", why the need to put other women down? I just don't get it. There's a saying "a healthy mind doesn't speak ill of others" fgs just let women live their life as they want to. She's made a huge success of her business, she's 60 and has gone through some difficult times and survived. Well done Trinny!

Why can't these women be contented with wealth and fame without feeling the need to puff up their lips, bosoms and bums? They look awful. The thought of going through some of these procedures makes me squirm. What a hideous way to spend your wealth.

Agree. She was such a slim attractive brunette.

Both Keeley and Trinny looked as if they have had lots of facial work done and not the best either. They look as if on the diet pills too. Not impressed. Amanda too is on the redesign my face and body circuit. Think they all need their brains redesigned.

People use the fillers, Botox etc to keep their face smoother so they still get tv work, jobs.Many actors must have regular plastic surgery. Kevin Bacon never looks any older!
I got hooked on watching The Traitors having been tempted to see John Bercow on a Traitors USA filmed in Scotland. The contestants were all reality show participants apart from Bercow. From Real housewives of Atlanta show, Miami Show. Survivors, Bachelor , Big Brother and shows I hadn’t hear of. Was bemused by all the perfect faces forever 40 whatever age.
They commented on how old Bercow was one day and they laughed saying the Brits don’t do Botox etc.
Currently watching the latest one and there is a spectacular trout pout. Don’t understand why people go that far.

Definitely don’t think she was a good advert for her own beauty products!
I am actually having Caci treatment but wouldn’t have anything invasive and certainly don’t want Miss Piggy lips! Think most of us probably just want to look the best we can not twenty years younger.

I’ve read reviews where Aldi and Lidl cosmetics come out better than Trinny’s overpriced slap.

Curious- why do you grace Aldi and Lidl’s products with the descriptor ‘cosmetics’ yet TW’s products are ‘slap’!

I love Trinny make up and watch her videos but I was a bit taken aback by her look on DD I must say. I saw her live at another show before Christmas and she looked great and was very entertaining.

I only initially recognised her by her voice. Admittedly I have face blindness, but those lips! They totally dominate her face and I couldn’t stop looking at them with a sort of horrified fascination. Do these women really think they look good?

I was very surprised to see how she looked but I was also surprised that she did speak some sense. She must think she looks good and her thriving (I think) beauty business seems to show many others think the same.

If you’re selling/promoting beauty products surely the way you look yourself is important.

I don’t know any of her products but if you are saying “my products will make you look good” and then actually you opt for surgery and fillers instead that must be relevant.

She is in the beauty business so I think it is probably fair comment.

Commenting on her looks if she hadn't done all that to her face would be very unkind. However, she has deliberately made herself look very odd and that is not a good rôle model for younger women. So many appear to have abnormally plumped up lips, strangely plump cheeks and startled expressions anyway these days.

I'm not against gentle plastic surgery, in fact I'd have my eyes done if I was brave enough, but Trinny has founded her own beauty company and is on a mission to give everyone the tools they need to feel their best.

These products obviously don't work because she's resorted to Botox and fillers which have ruined her natural good looks. Not a good advert for her beauty products.

In the past women put arsenic on their faces to look pale, fashions change in makeup as they do in clothes.

So glad it's not just me who was transfixed by her very odd appearance.
I do enjoy Dragons Den. It's always interesting to see the new ideas for products. The dragons are usually helpful and encouraging even if they don't invest.

I see some of the fashion vids she does and she doesn't look like she did on Dragon's Den. tbh I was quite shocked. The vids are current so they're either highly edited or there was something off with the studio lighting. She's had work but her usual look is ok. I've got some of her cosmetics and like them tbh I didn't think what I bought was particularly expensive but I normally buy Clarins. Have to agree though that she looked very odd!

dragonfly, we said that about Keeley Hawes, too. I was so disappointed as I thought she was more down to earth than that.

Karen Brady aka Baroness Brady seems to have gone along the same route judging by her appearance on The Apprentice this evening.

They do it because they want to make money. They are on TV and people are impressed by them.
