Trinny Woodhall . Made her money in beauty products!
But, just look at her. What has she done? Botoxed and plasticised to the 'nth' degree. She isn't a great advert for her own business.

Calendargirl Thu 30-Jan-25 20:32:54

She was with Charles Saatchi, who used to be with Nigella.

Not sure if they are still together?

Allira Thu 30-Jan-25 21:37:27

I was trying to work out who she is. Of course, Trinny Woodall!

Even DH commented on her botox and pumped-up lips. Not a good look, it looked as if something had gone wrong, sadly.

Primrose53 Thu 30-Jan-25 21:40:32

All these women with more money than sense!

Tizliz Thu 30-Jan-25 22:07:03

Can’t understand this look.

Casdon Thu 30-Jan-25 22:09:40

She is a very successful businesswoman though. Her makeup range is good.

Primrose53 Thu 30-Jan-25 22:15:01

I’ve read reviews where Aldi and Lidl cosmetics come out better than Trinny’s overpriced slap.

dragonfly46 Thu 30-Jan-25 22:21:42

I thought she looked dreadful on the one show this evening. Keeley Hawes looked as if she had had work done as well. I wonder why the do it as it is not attractive.

Kate1949 Thu 30-Jan-25 22:37:46

What happened to natural beauty? How sad.

Foxgloveandroses Thu 30-Jan-25 22:41:59

Amanda Holden is another. She is so naturally attractive but sadly she has taken the 'aesthetics' route. It was a shock to see her recently on The One Show.

henetha Thu 30-Jan-25 23:26:27

I found it tricky to actually look at Trinny's face this evening. That sort of Botox lips is so unattractive. I don't know why such an intelligent woman does that.

Toetoe Thu 30-Jan-25 23:34:01

I kept looking and looking at her face on dragons den and thinking does she really think she looks good ? Those lips . Oh dear . Just why

Kate1949 Thu 30-Jan-25 23:34:44

They do it because they want to make money. They are on TV and people are impressed by them.

Jane43 Fri 31-Jan-25 00:53:14

Karen Brady aka Baroness Brady seems to have gone along the same route judging by her appearance on The Apprentice this evening.

kittylester Fri 31-Jan-25 06:14:38

dragonfly, we said that about Keeley Hawes, too. I was so disappointed as I thought she was more down to earth than that.

BlueBelle Fri 31-Jan-25 07:46:15

Carol Viderman a very intelligent lady seems to be competing with KatiePrice for the biggest bosom and bottom Silly lady starting to look like a cartoon character

foxie48 Fri 31-Jan-25 08:32:36

I see some of the fashion vids she does and she doesn't look like she did on Dragon's Den. tbh I was quite shocked. The vids are current so they're either highly edited or there was something off with the studio lighting. She's had work but her usual look is ok. I've got some of her cosmetics and like them tbh I didn't think what I bought was particularly expensive but I normally buy Clarins. Have to agree though that she looked very odd!

Aveline Fri 31-Jan-25 08:50:51

So glad it's not just me who was transfixed by her very odd appearance.
I do enjoy Dragons Den. It's always interesting to see the new ideas for products. The dragons are usually helpful and encouraging even if they don't invest.

sodapop Fri 31-Jan-25 08:58:43

They all end up looking the same, no character in their faces.
I agree about Carol Vordeman BlueBelle .

GrannyGravy13 Fri 31-Jan-25 09:09:21

Another successful business woman judged by others on how she looks. Sorry but this is basically a pile on and it makes me uncomfortable.

In the past women put arsenic on their faces to look pale, fashions change in makeup as they do in clothes.

Not sure they are intended for our age group

Lathyrus3 Fri 31-Jan-25 09:58:00

If you’re selling/promoting beauty products surely the way you look yourself is important.

I don’t know any of her products but if you are saying “my products will make you look good” and then actually you opt for surgery and fillers instead that must be relevant.

Shelflife Fri 31-Jan-25 10:50:25

Trinny looked horrendous! As for Carol Vordaman - don't get me started ! What is the matter with these women!?

Allira Fri 31-Jan-25 12:53:27

Is it a pile-on?
She is in the beauty business so I think it is probably fair comment.

Commenting on her looks if she hadn't done all that to her face would be very unkind. However, she has deliberately made herself look very odd and that is not a good rôle model for younger women. So many appear to have abnormally plumped up lips, strangely plump cheeks and startled expressions anyway these days.

I'm not against gentle plastic surgery, in fact I'd have my eyes done if I was brave enough, but Trinny has founded her own beauty company and is on a mission to give everyone the tools they need to feel their best.

These products obviously don't work because she's resorted to Botox and fillers which have ruined her natural good looks. Not a good advert for her beauty products.

In a nutshell!

I was very surprised to see how she looked but I was also surprised that she did speak some sense. She must think she looks good and her thriving (I think) beauty business seems to show many others think the same.
