Loose women is really getting on my nerves, in particular, the dreaded Denise who gets more opinionated by the day! If you chopped that wretched woman’s arms off, she wouldn’t be able to speak! Please can w3 have a change from her? She is just unbearable!

Never watched it. Never will.

Wise woman! Nor shall .I any more.

Do you mean Denise I have terrible depression/have lost loads of weight/have given up alcohol and so has my husband and we've never been happier/my son is in a famous rock band and dated Taylor Swift/I'm friends with Michael Caine Welch? Not dismissing her depression as I have it myself. She's one of the reasons I no longer watch LW.

Saw a bit of it once. That was quite enough thanks.

I watch it occasionally- I like JSP

I am not keen on DW either. I like Katie Piper.

Most of the Loose Women presenters are braying, strident, self-important know-it-alls. I've watched bits of it occasionally and have never understood what the appeal is.

Dreadful prog

They've all "been there, seen that, got the T-Shirt"

Ilovedogs22 Thu 27-Feb-25 17:16:57

Ohh no, it's a lot of women trying to outdo each other!
So much for women NOT behaving like men????t
Some of the contributors make my teeth itch, particularly Linda Robson. ( Is she even still on it?)
Yep, they really l have let the side -down.
Such a shame, it could have been such a ground -breaking & valuable opportunity for women to showcase their intellect & wisdom. 🤔

Yes, Northsoutheastwest, Katie Piper is an inspiration.
She's eloquent, thoughtful and charming and so very courageous too. 😊

I saw a bit of one episode, years ago. Many excitable, shrieking women droning about things didn't appeal to me.

Tenko Thu 27-Feb-25 21:21:19

I’ve never watched it, but years ago I went with some friends to be in the audience. I found the filming process very interesting.
During the ad breaks Janet Street Porter and Jenny Le Clair were really integrating with the audience and seemed interested. The other two LW were on their phones .
The main guests were Micheal Ball and the teacher from The Inbetweeners .
And no it didn’t inspire me to watch it .

All full of their own importance! Individually ok but together a nightmare!

Sometimes encountered it by accident when looking for the news. Can’t change it quick enough.

Does Kay Adams still present it? I generally think she makes some sensible comments. On the few occasions that I've watched it, I think it does a disservice to women. They rarely discuss important matters in a thoughtful and knowledgeable way, and it often makes it look like women are only capable of discussing trivialities.

Ziggy62 Fri 28-Feb-25 10:18:35

I occasionally watch if Janet Street Porter is on

Toetoe Fri 28-Feb-25 10:30:26

Used to watch it years ago and wouldn't even think about it now . They would talk about their lifes as if they were just ordinary women , often saying about their hardships I.e. financial costs , day to day probs with housework . Yet they must earn thousands of £ s a year , have cleaners , helpers , nanny's. Private health care , dentists. They were talking fake . Entitled women who pretend their lifes are like ours .

NannyPT Fri 28-Feb-25 10:48:24

I used to like watching it but that was a long time ago. What I can't stand is when they turn the taps on, I feel that they are urged by the producers to produce tears if possible.

knspol Fri 28-Feb-25 13:41:10

Never watched it and don't intend to change.

AuntieE Fri 28-Feb-25 14:07:53

As far as I know it is still possible to turn the television OFF!

Pippa22 Fri 28-Feb-25 14:55:18

I have never watched Loose Women and never will . Those of you who watch but complain might I suggest that you watch something else or listen to the radio. Why torture yourselves ? I live alone but never put the television on before eight in the evening and just watch what I know I will enjoy. A lot of daytime television is just cheaply made discussions and phone ins it seems. Not for me.

Barbadosbelle Fri 28-Feb-25 15:15:11

.

I get very tired of watching these, mostly uneducated and unknowing women, spouting on about subjects and politics of which they have no knowledge or understanding.

The only ones worthy of listening to on a myriad of subjects are Janet Street Porter and Jane Moore,

I record the programme and later listen to the programme's subjects for the day at the beginning, and run on to any item or guest that might interest me. I do a lot of running on (at least 40/45-minutes of any episode)!!

Got bored with it years ago.

If I see DW is on I turn it off straight away she depresses me.
