Lebanon to be heavily bombed (title edited by MNHQ at request of OP)
Working in someone else's home
Thought I’d start a new thread as the other one is full. Nothing to say really at the moment because I said it at the end of the last thread. Hopefully we can carry on with our Corrie moans!

Later rather than sooner I hope.
Brian and Julie are a lovely couple. They're both usually funny but no longer due to Julie's condition. Tears ahead!
If Julie weren’t dying, I think George would be turning his attentions to her. She seems sweet natured, and the contrast between her and Eileen is noticeable.
Eileen was always feisty and sharp, but now she just comes across as bored and nasty. Her feelings about her role I assume.
I cannot stand the sight of Mary and never will.
There are so many misery guts there at present that it would be good to see some laughter, like in days long gone.
For someone who works in construction, Theo always seems to wear pristine white t shirts. Surely scaffolders move on quite quickly don’t they?
Re Eileen- me too. Went right off her. Oh well Mary might take over her undertaking boyfriend. I do like him.
Doodlebug - Eileen was one of my favourite characters too, she was funny and quick witted. Her relationships with Steve, Tim and previously Lloyd were brilliant. Then she proved herself to be a horrible nasty bully in the jungle alongside the equally ghastly Charlene White and since then I have struggled to watch her on screen. All I see is the nasty person she is in real life.

Gary and his junk shop hasn’t been in it for a while either .
‘Junk shop’ indeed!
Pre-loved furniture surely?

Doodledog I totally agree with Eileen, but I do hope that Lauren is on the way out, as she is also so miserable.
We have not seen a few faces for weeks. I assume this is because ITV can only afford to pay a certain number of actors for each episode.
Where are Ken and Cassie? I have lost track of who has left via Corrie or their own volition.
After years of being a dedicated Corrie fan I find myself reading what the episode is about, then deciding whether or not to watch it. I have missed a few lately.
Eileen was my favourite character for years, then Sue Cleaver went into the jungle and came back such a long streak of misery. She seemed to lose her sense of humour along with all that weight. I wouldn’t miss her if she left, really, which is a shame.
Oh I don’t know about Sarah and Kit I think she’s jumping in on my territory there🤣anyway I still have a soft spot for Damian
I think the Julie etc saga is ridiculous and looks like Eileen and thingy are going to be parting their ways Taxiiii !!!
Chesney and Gemma, keep your back door locked!
Oh Todd, just give up on Barbie Ken, he really isn’t worth it! Let him go back to crazy Danielle.
It isn’t love, it’s lust, plain and simple!
Julie, the awful karaoke and abandoned trip to the lakes, mardy Eileen, Lauren yet again gurning away in the prison with her ghastly dad/non dad…..plus sniffling away even more than usual, at least she had a hanky/tissue, the saga of Daisy and Jenny…….
Sarah and Kit was the only nice bit. I hope they become an item.
We can't know that the DeeDee situation wasn't about race though. That hasn't been decided in the story yet, and whether we believe it or not in the end, we don't have the information yet to decide. It's never been suggested that there was racism - just that the protocols for spotting distress involve things like going pale, which clearly won't apply to someone with black skin. Raising awareness of that can only be for the best, I think.
There are many instances where things are designed for men and leave women in danger - seat belts are a case in point, and I believe that crash test dummies are based on the male body, so airbags are designed to benefit men, too. Heart attacks present differently in women, and there will be numerous other examples, I'm sure. The more education about all of this the better, whether they are on sex or racial lines.

The Debbie story could be interesting though. Glad to hear that Dev is enjoying his time in India though. Time he was back.
Theo obviously got his teeth from the same place as Cassie.
Ha ha yes! Those "turkey teeth "

The whole Todd/Theo storyline is ridiculous.
Theo obviously has no intention of ‘coming out’ to his wife and family, so apart from the sex, Todd has no future with him. As for all this taking place in Sarah’s flat, it’s in poor taste. What if she had turned up with Harry in tow, what would he make of it all?
Seeing as he is very rarely with his mother, in between her dates and hopping into bed with anyone herself, I don’t suppose it’s an issue.
Am also fed up with Dee Dee, bemoaning she will never be able to have another child but shows absolutely no concern for the one she’s got. And the race issue is going to drag on for ages, along with the interminable visits to the Young Offenders Unit and the ghastly new family and gormless Gemma. Why doesn’t she just drop the ‘friendship’ and keep her door locked to prevent them waltzing in with cans of beer all the time?
Hopeless storylines.
I couldn't agree more

Mick & Lou are on the way out. Even Corrie scriptwriters have to accept they get it wrong at times and their contracts are not being continued.
What possessed them to write them in to start with? They would be more suited to Brassic than the cobbles.
They were only hired on a short contract, they were brought in specifically to cause chaos on the street, in the lead up to a major storyline.
I know because it was mentioned upthread, which spoils the watching of it.
Oh! I do hope you are right and that couple go together with that awful son in prison. How do,you know?
I think they do plan well ahead, but they have to be able to adapt in case someone dies or takes ill (or is involved in a scandal and gets sacked).
No more spoilers about Mick and Lou, please? I didn’t know they were going, and enjoy watching plots unfold as they happen, without knowing about them in advance.
They should be planning Corrie's lives a year ahead, not two episodes away.
DeeDee is so annoying, squeaky complaining voice, I have seen not a scrap of evidence of a strong capable woman, just a self centred hope and baby gets adopted away from all of them. As for the race line, it was an understaffed hospital under pressure. .
Sarah, hooks up with anyone, even lets others use her own bed for sex, hope Kit steers clear and doesn't go near that bed.. In fact do not go close to any woman on the street, anything that moves they pounce.
The new couple are just vile.
There's only Roy, Eileen and Sean likeable.
If they don’t get good writers its finished.
