Just looked it up.

"I know there are people worse off then me"
Robert Kenyon, Reform's candidate for Makerfield. Would you let him in your house?
Thought I’d start a new thread as the other one is full. Nothing to say really at the moment because I said it at the end of the last thread. Hopefully we can carry on with our Corrie moans!
Just looked it up.
Kev is supposed to be 60 in September.
How old do you think younger bro is meant to be?
Didn’t Debbie say at the doctor’s she was 56?
Kev will be older than that, I am assuming he’s the oldest.
Carl looked how old- 40ish?
🤷♀️
How many years has Abi been married to Kevin and she’s never seen a photo or mention of his brother?
I’ve always thought Daisy’s mother is an unwelcome and unnecessary addition to the storyline. I thought she and Daisy didn’t get on, never having bothered much with each other.
I suppose they think they are entitled to this £60k which is from Daisy’s father, an insurance or something?
Who knows?
Och I quite like Abi. She's in a difficult position. The contrast between Kevin who looks like a small elderly monkey these days and his much taller and younger brother is huge. How did he get all the tall genes that Kev and Debbie missed out on?
Re Daisy's mother - the plot thickens...
I thought Jack had a permanent blank look!
😂
I was wondering why I had no recollection of Kevin’s brother ever being mentioned. But I didn’t feel so bad then when Jack gave a blank look and had to be told he was his uncle.
I’m already fed up with Abi and how she blows hot and cold with her attitude towards Kevin since his diagnosis. She has a knack of making it all about herself. Now she’s had temptation dropped in her lap with the arrival of her flirtatious brother in law. Poor Kevin. I hope he goes off and has some fun with Julie .
Why has no one ever mentioned Kevin’s brother before?
Kit is very ‘nice’ cor!! Sarah is very pretty but I m nt keen on her character Daisy is gorgeous and I like her courage and how she bites back , can’t see what point there is in her mother being there
Never ever known Alzheimer’s start with black outs or falling over much more likely TIA s which can in years lead to Alzheiners but not all at once, really silly not well researched writing
Damian is a very cute child but the story line around him is ridiculous
As was the bumping cars with the new brother all so daft
Getting rid of well loved characters to bring in new ones a few more old ones to go yet !!!
So the new family no one likes going as soon as they ve arrived !
Builder and possible lover on the scene !
New brother never heard of before suddenly arrives !
Kevin on his death bed then out at dinner
But you’re right as always Debbie played a blinder
Was I the only one to think that dragging poor Kevin out to the Bistro, to feast on squid, octopus, whatever, was quite uncaring considering he was feeling very sick after his chemo?
And Abi was obviously in no hurry to get back to him with his anti sick medication.
As for Cassie and Steve acting like randy teenagers, when she was supposed to be keeping an eye on the naughty Hope and Ruby…..
Didn’t Sarah look pretty with her hair up? Better than mardy Daisy. No wonder Kit appears smitten. He has a lovely smile, reminds me of Marti Pellow.
I am not and never have been a fan of DeeDee. A very selfish person.
I remember a publicity campaign a while ago (probably 10 years or so ago) telling people that they had to register informally adopted/fostered children. In most cases it was grandparents or other relatives who stepped in when parents couldn't look after the children, but even then it has to be registered. I would have thought that HVs and so on who would be visiting DeeDee at this stage would be on the case.
Corrie has such an excellent medical service usually - it is odd that in a place where people get immediate appointments with a named doctor, private rooms in hospitals and so on they miss out on post-natal care
Baby Layla’s story is wrong on every level. Have I imagined it or did a social worker interview Deedee weeks ago and it was confirmed the baby would be for adoption?
Surely there would be social work involvement now if only to check on the baby’s welfare. Uncle James was suddenly proclaimed as daddy and left the hospital with the baby. Then he jetted off to the U.S and grandad took over. Now Debbie and Ronnie who have no experience of small babies are assuming full time care 🤷♀️
Yes, I feel sorry for baby Laila.
Only a few days old, after a caesarean birth, and she seems to be shoved from pillar to post.
Gormless Ed pushing her pram around in between fixing the dodgy plumbing at the Chariot Square Hotel, no sign of Michael, and I really think Nurse Aggie should be back taking charge and frankly, telling Dee Dee to help out with what is her baby and ultimately, her responsibility until James comes back and adopts her.
Incidentally, how did Debbie ever afford to buy the CS Hotel as she was left nearly bankrupt by corrupt Ray?
I’ve forgotten how it all got sorted.

I thought the doctor was somewhat jumping to conclusions. I'm glad she's being referred on for proper assessment.
Agreed. At Debbie's age I'd have expected investigations into other possibilities to come before a discussion of Dementia.
Maybe he's read the script though
The episode was much better than usual last night.
Yes. I'm irritated by DeeDee. Silly besom.
Yes, I’m sure the doctor wouldn’t have been so blunt about the possibility of Alzheimer’s.
I’ve gone off Dee Dee a bit. I’m sure she’s struggling (though still strong enough to launch her complaint against the NHS), but she chose to leave hospital too early and she must see how looking after a tiny baby full-time is affecting her family. As if Debbie can add that to her current load, even without taking her medical issues into account.

I agree that the Debbie actress was superb in last night's episode.

I wonder why Dorian is speaking English when he’s been living in Romania with a Romanian family.
Fiz and Ty would not be able to chat with him if he only spoke Romanian.
Alina obviously thought of all this so made him bilingual!
Very astute of her.
It's Corrie. Anything is possible!

Dorin is such a great wee boy. He's so cheerful. I bet the actors have a job with him. He just comes out with things so they have to react.
Dorin is so cute! So relaxed and happy, real contrast to Bertie!
I agree, watchable for once.
