Corrie continuation!

I expect Aadi will join all the other young cast members who leave, creating heart wrenching emotional scenes with family members and friends, then as soon as they have whizzed off in the ubiquitous taxi, are rarely mentioned again, completely forgotten about.

Thinking of Sophie, Rosie, Bethany, Max, Steve’s newish daughter who went to Australia, Johnny Connor’s daughter, (Aidan’s sister), Tim’s daughter who was in Strictly (her name escapes me), Michelle’s doctor son (Ali)?…

Who have I missed off?

And those who think Brody is becoming nicer, well, I don’t think so.

He is very rude, sullen, everybody bends over backwards for him.

And his hair gets on me, flopping into his face.

Aadi is off for good which is a shame I like him Perhaps he’s got better screen offers in hand He’s one of the many leaving whether by choice or not we don’t know and I haven’t given anything away as it was discussed in the show that he was off to India
Dev and Berny are totally sick making and like you say Calandergirl they are not even married, he overacts so much I wish the whole family would join Aunty Rani well

Yes Kit has a real life injury so they ve kinda changed his hospital injuries around a bit Totally inappropriate for Sarah to trot along when a dad is trying to get to know his son.
Steve and Cassie are sick making and yes Ken looked very different last night
All in all a fairly disappointing episode

I agree, there was no explanation why Ken and the awful Cassie were there as though they had never left. Ken is around 92 in real life so age must have caught up with him.

The Corrie scriptwreckers get worse by the day. I honestly think they haul random people in off the street and say, ‘Just write a quick episode of Corrie for us please’.
To be honest, the storyline couldn’t get any worse if they did!

Agreed - Steve was a better actor in the early days. Now he does a lot of fish like opening and closing of his mouth, and what was the silly walk and face pulling about in the hallway in last night's episode? In the Coronation Street Classic episodes he portrays a believable character.

Some of Steve’s silly acting and mannerisms remind me of Reg Holdsworth back in the day.

Does anyone remember the scene with Reg and Maureen and the water bed flooding down into the Kabin?

There’s little continuity, with the various scriptwriters.

I kept wondering why Kit’s knife injury meant he was hobbling about on crutches, but have read on social media that he has a real life injury or similar on his leg, which was conveniently written into the script.

The latest episode was weird.
I don’t know why, but I felt as though I have missed an episode, even though I know I haven’t. It didn’t flow tonight. Where has Cassie come from? I thought she had gone a while ago.
What is going on with Ken? He looked completely different, hairstyle completely different too. He did look very frail. Is he ill? It didn’t seem as though makeup could make him look as bad as he did.
Then there was Brody. When he first came on the scene, he was a rotter, Then he was nice, normal and friendly. Now he is a rotter and a thief again.
What is going on? Can anyone explain, please? I am so confused!

Ex or soon to be ex son in law, slobbering away with his new girlfriend who tried to drug Ken in the past, alongside his bolshy daughter who murdered a former boyfriend, and a granddaughter with various issues of one sort or another,

Not exactly a harmonious household for an elderly man.

Poor Aadi. I hope he isn’t about to disappear for months. Good acting from him tonight. I’d like to see him make a go of it with Amy. There’s no chemistry between him and Lauren.

Theo becomes more sinister with every episode. I hope Todd comes to his senses soon.

Aadi may as well have travelled back with Auntie Rani, they could have kept each other company.

Dev and Bernie’s canoodling and innuendos were nearly as 🤮as Todd and Theo’s.

And I will say again, they aren’t actually married!

Where was Alfie whilst Abi was out enjoying some rumpy pumpy! Amazing how her face looks so shiny and always caked in thick makeup despite all that bedroom action. Why was Debbie wearing pyjamas at the wedding. Amazing those cheap blue suits seem to fit perfectly and look quite good.

Alfie would have been better off with Toyah after all. Has Nick had a blue rinse? Yes Gemma looked lovely last night, it's a shame they have gone down this uncouth, loud route with her. I think George should move in with Glenda into the Rovers. Mary with Brian and Todd stay in his own house but without Theo. I know I am repeating myself from a previous thread but I live in.hope the scriptwriters are watching.

Abi was just pretending to be sick so she could get with Carl. Wouldn't be too surprised with a pregnancy story though!

I also thought that Abi may be pregnant, although it is rather soon, it is soapland.

Aveline I am unsure how your present husband feels, as you were happy to jet off into the sunset with Dev if the opportunity arose.

As if Bernie would have sat down with a cup of tea when she was already holding up the wedding.

Where does Carl live? Does he have a room in Debbie’s hotel?

I agree with GNW I thought the quads and their buckets were so funny, Gemma looks much nicer with her hair down and Debbie took over and won the show but what a daft storyline all they needed was someone shouting ‘it’s behind you’
Abbie and Karl are giving me the ick I wish they’d disappear together

I thought the scene with the quads watching the wedding on the laptop was funny. Sitting with an assortment of buckets and bowls and the little girl pretended to vomit into the bucket 😆

When Abi appeared downstairs saying she’d just been sick my immediate thought was I hope she’s not pregnant!

I really enjoyed Debbie this evening.

I thought Gemma looked nice too.

Aha! So they're not really married. I was just being pleased about that when Dev launched that tirade of really nasty verbal abuse at poor Aadi when I just went completely off him. Even his wonderful dancing in the last scene didn't convert me again. It's official. I've gone off Dev.
