I can take or leave Debbie. I've always found her character annoying (as in, if I knew her in real life I would avoid her), although there is no doubt that the part is well acted. I think that she and Ronnie would make a good couple behind the bar though - there could be some of the comedy that we saw in Bet's day.
Abi has never been believable. I wouldn't miss her at all, but the Street wouldn't be the same without Kevin. Since he was Hilda's lodger he's been part of things, and I hope he stays. Thee actor is looking rough though - I hope he's ok in real life.
Kit is a pantomime villain. I hope he's overreached this time and it sees him off. My jury is out where Brodie is concerned. I don't like the instant rehabilitation that happens in Corrie. David is the only long-running villain, and he's loveable in his peculiar way. He's gone from Devil child to a 'difficult' adult, and pretty much nothing the script requires him to do would seem out of character. He's attempted murder, blackmail and goodness knows what else, but somehow gets away with it. Anyway, Brodie could be a good character, and he does have ties to the cobbles via Bernie, Gemma and Kit. The actor is a good looking lad, which often bodes well for getting a long-running contract if they exist now, but so was Mason, and he didn't last long.
