Is anyone joining me for this year's extravaganza?

So far, we've got Chesney Hawkes.

Chris is greedy , ordering 11 items to eat from the Chinese food menu . Says a lot about the man . All the stroking and touching with jojo is odd . Definitely camera time . He will be gone soon I think

BlueBelle Thu 17-Apr-25 06:25:01

Im Going against a few of you I think Jojo is leading the flirting she is the one waking Chris stroking him and being ultra flirtatious and all over him and of course he’s loving it and responding I don’t care if she’s gay straight bi or whatever if she has a partner at home who she ‘adores’ then she’s a nasty piece of work and insulting her relationship

I felt very sorry for Tricia last night she was sad and pretty upset hearing the rest didn’t really like her so much What a shame she does look old and frail poor soul she shouldn’t have gone in the house when she needed to be treated differently

I agree about the hosts never seen the woman before but she’s so shouty and not very professional sounds like she’s in a football pitch

rafichagran Thu 17-Apr-25 01:00:59

Watched L&L, Tiffany Pollard is not funny she is crude. I find her shouting off putting and annoying.

LadyGaGa Wed 16-Apr-25 23:41:38

I agree about the Chris and Jojo thing. I feel that he’s using her to make sure he gets most camera time. Jojo comes across as brash and loud, but she’s actually quite vulnerable and I’m really warming to her. I’m also warming to Donna - I like her dry humour and she seems like a good listener. Not too sure about Angelica, but she looks great for 50! Danny remains my fave I think.

crazyH Wed 16-Apr-25 23:19:06

Jack makes me laugh - he should be kept in. The rest are boring

rafichagran Wed 16-Apr-25 23:15:33

I really do not like Chris, he is a game player and tedious. I actually think he is boring.
I am liking Jack and Daley more and more. They are down to earth.

Doodledog Wed 16-Apr-25 22:41:01

Tonight's episode was rubbish. Tiffany on L&L was dreadful. Trisha is not my favourite by any means, as she seems to believe that age confers wisdom which is not necessarily the case, but she deserves some respect.

I am uncomfortable with the way Chris is behaving with Jojo (and vice versa). I don't know whether Chris has a partner, but Jojo does, and they must be unhappy with the bedtime antics and obvious closeness that's going on.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 16-Apr-25 15:44:36

The right person left the house.

Toetoe Wed 16-Apr-25 15:35:32

Watched late and live , oh my goodness who the heck is the screecher , what an attention seeker. Thank goodness I could mute her and fast forward ( I recorded it )

Not keen on either presenter I find them both trying too hard!

Doodledog Wed 16-Apr-25 12:45:54

I warmed to Jojo from the start, although I wasn't keen when she entered the house. She seems a sweet girl and mature for her age. I agree that she'd be better off distancing herself from Chris - I'm not keen on him.

Daley doesn't get a lot of air time, so I'm not sure what I make of him. Danny is better than I expected, too.

LemonDrop Wed 16-Apr-25 11:21:51

I’ve watched BB from its conception, and liked it in its early days, when it was more an experiment. I still watch but feel slightly ashamed like it’s my dirty secret! I’m not a prude but hate sex talk, and smutty jokes, and find some of the characters have no depth. BUT I still watch! smile
I’m .a big fan of Daley Thompson always have been, an amazing sportsman, so far he’s my favourite.
I like Donna too, she is quite funny, and the comedic element.
I’m warming to Danny a lot.
Really don’t like the carry on between Chris and JoJo what is that all about? I agree it may be ‘playing the game’. I’d be happy to see Chris go. But quite like JOJo when she’s away from him.
I have never taken to Trisha so was happy to see her go.

nanaK54 Wed 16-Apr-25 10:17:22

They really are a 'funny' bunch this year...

I am pleased Trisha has gone (how mean am I?)

Chris - really gone off him, too manipulative for me and as Daley has pointed out 'he knows how to play the game'

JoJo - still like her, but perhaps she needs to distance herself from Chris and his games.

Chesney - hmm, not sure about him really.

Donna, Angelica and Ella - not keen on any of them at the moment, however, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time grin

Patsy - think she really just wants out - can't say I blame her!

Jack - makes me laugh - whether I could live with him is a different matter.

Daley - doing very well I think

Danny - I find him fascinating - think he has a good heart.

Did I leave anyone out, probably grin

Parsley3 Wed 16-Apr-25 10:02:17

I didn't mind Trisha but now she is gone it will be interesting to see who is voted out next. I wonder if they will stop nominating Jack. I am watching Late and Live for the first time on catchup. Oh that Tiffany person. Screeching is never a good thing. The Chris and JoJo carry on is annoying me now.

Doodledog Wed 16-Apr-25 05:53:44

I think Trisha’s problem is that she thinks she is popular and much wiser than she is. She courts applause by saying what she believes audiences want to hear, which is always high-risk when views go out of date.

I agree that Chris is annoying. He disregards the rules and seems to lead others to trouble.

rafichagran Wed 16-Apr-25 00:00:14

I have to say I now dislike Chris. On that boring ship task, Tricia said "There is a rat on the ship" and Chris turned and stared at Mickey. Mickey took offence and said he would put him on his arse as he was eyeballing him. Mickey is volatile and Chris knows this, he knew what he was doing.
I am also liking Daley, he said that JoJo and Chris know what they are doing and will do things to get air time.
I am really seeing what these characters in the house are like and the mask is slipping.

LadyGaGa Tue 15-Apr-25 23:49:09

Feel a bit for Trisha, as I think she thought she’d be really popular. I’ve always liked her, but she was so preachy and full of herself. I wish her well though, she looks very frail.
I agree about Tiffany Doodledog she’s a nightmare! And I thought all the jokes about ‘David is dead’ were a bit tasteless now he is.
And I must have a rant about AJ Odudu. Is it just me who thinks she a bad presenter, who can’t seem to string a sentence together without saying ‘yer know’?
Sorry about the rant! Feel better now 😂

Doodledog Tue 15-Apr-25 23:28:25

Also, who is that awful Tiffany on L&L? I know it's camp nonsense, which I don't mind usually, but I can't be doing with Tiffany - way over the top.

Doodledog Tue 15-Apr-25 23:26:44

rafichagran

Just gave all of my five votes to Jack, Tricia is OK but a bit preachy, and Patsy gives the impression she does not want yo be there.

I did the same.

Sorry, I've been a rubbish thread host grin. I have seen every episode, but usually late, and everything's been said before I get here.

I was pleased Trisha went. I didn't actively dislike her, but the older I get the more irritating I find people who claim to know how everyone else should live, and she is the very personification of self-righteous preachiness. I also disliked the way she played on her cancer situation. Obviously it is awful, and I have every sympathy, but saying that she wants to stay in case her family have to see headlines about 'terminally ill woman evicted' was sp obviously passive aggressive and utterly tasteless.

I agree with BlueBelle that Jojo's behaviour is odd. I think she is in a relationship with a non-binary person (no idea if that is a heterosexual relationship or a gay one) but she is more than flirting with Chris, who is massively encouraging it. She's very young though, so may be confused about her sexuality - it happens with people much older than her, so who knows? I think it's unfair to her partner to do it so publicly though.

Crossstitchfan Tue 15-Apr-25 22:56:44

Oh dear! Boring game that went on far too long! Juvenile and pointless conversations.
I don’t dislike any of the people. (Don’t know half of them), but any spark of life in CBB went out for me when Mickey was dumped. I didn’t particularly like him, but he was watchable if only to see if he could keep going. Someone said he looked lost and a bit bewildered, and he did, poor man, so I’m glad he’s gone.
Tricia is not nice at all. Shame, as I always liked her years ago.

Putting all that together made me realise CBB is not for me, and for the first time since it started, I have given up on it. It has definitely lost its way. Perhaps it’s time it got shelved?

Parsley3 Tue 15-Apr-25 18:12:53

Oh, this thread! I wasn't going to watch CBB this year but then I made the mistake of reading the comments on here and had to start watching it to catch up.
The pirate thing was boring, apart from the incident that led to Mickey getting the boot. I don't like any of them at the moment as they are all a bit bland but I was a fan of Daley back in the day so I will nominate him as my favourite for now.

rafichagran Mon 14-Apr-25 23:51:38

Just gave all of my five votes to Jack, Tricia is OK but a bit preachy, and Patsy gives the impression she does not want yo be there.

BlueBelle Mon 14-Apr-25 16:16:10

Is it me or do you find the women very wimpy
And I. don’t think Patsy comes across too well getting all upset about nothing at all and nor does Tricia much too much of a know it all
Micky was at least interesting he could have been told off but not sent off He was a character not bland and pearl clutching but unusual and a bit vulnerable
And the games (scenarios)! would suit a 10 year olds party
No one stands out as a winner for me all bland and much to OMG you can’t do that, you can’t say that, you ll offend me
Maybe I ve got it wrong as I d never heard of her but I thought the American girl was gay but she was clambering all over the Chris bloke whoever he is !
I think Jacks alright and Chesney, Daley and Angelica the rest not so much but all seems pretty childish to me

Crossstitchfan Mon 14-Apr-25 15:20:55

Sorry for all the mis-spellings in my post. I forgot to proof-read.

Was;’t = wasn’t
Self-Center Ed = self- centered

Crossstitchfan Mon 14-Apr-25 15:17:51

Shinamae

I’ve lost a lot of interest in it now that Micky has gone…

Me too! I didn’t like him as such, but at least he came out with some stuff that was;’t bland. Can’t stand Tricia. She is so self-Center Ed.
In fact, there aren’t many ‘characters’ left now and it was the spunky characters, (trouble-makers, the nasty ones and the ‘poor me’ ones) that made it worth watching. I can’t see much point in it now.

dogsmother Mon 14-Apr-25 14:13:27

Tricia for me, quite entitled in her own way. I’m fully aware of her health situation which she deals with admirably. However her overbearing ways are really bothering me.
So I’d like her to leave next.
