Is anyone joining me for this year's extravaganza?

So far, we've got Chesney Hawkes.

Toetoe

Nana I don't know what corrective rape is . I thought Mickey was just being anti gay . I also thought as he is from a different country they may have different feelings and views to us . He definitely doesn't have any awareness of what is rude and what isn't. can you help me with the answer please .

He said "If I stay in I could turn you straight" JoJo countered with something like "I can assure you you couldn't turn me straight" he replied "I would tie you up".
As I said this is vile, what sort of 72 year old man would ever speak to a 21 year old woman like that.

I wasn't sure about Trisha but really she set Michael up so I'm not surprised he was out. He was quite entertaining though unlike the women who all seem bored.

I like Jojo.

Good morning fellow CBB fans!
Obvious really that that Michael would be first out.
Sad to see Patsy crying about the 'bad cook' comment, tired and overwhelmed I suspect.
Trisha is an absolute pain in the backside.
I just don't understand the 'love' for Mickey Rourke after his vile comments to JoJo - he was describing 'corrective rape' - that is why he was issued with a 'formal warning'.
Oh well - each to their own...

I'm disappointed in Tricia she seems self absorbed and I did find the islamafobia quote rather odd and unnecessary. Mickey is strange isn't he , is he on medication I wonder . What a nice man Daley is . He's a winner I think

Grannylynj Fri 11-Apr-25 23:12:15

No it’s just dreadful

rafichagran Fri 11-Apr-25 22:50:18

I find Mickey entertaining, and I am glad he and Jack did not leave tonight.
I am hoping Jack has more to give and I want to see more of his sarcastic humour.
I am finding Ellie tedious and Tricia dissapointing. I want to listen to other housemates without her interrupting with her stories.

BlueBelle Fri 11-Apr-25 22:03:53

What a banal evening that really was pretty dire watching

Doodledog Fri 11-Apr-25 22:03:21

Oh. I wonder who the core voters are?

Doodledog Fri 11-Apr-25 21:59:03

It could. But I also wonder what else MF could have been hinting at? 'If people come here they should not rock the boat' or words to that effect can't be aimed at many groups, really.

Anyway, let's try to just enjoy BB rather than argue politics?

I really don't know who is most at risk tonight. I wonder if Mickey might have reached the end of his contract and will be going before he can cause any lawsuits?

rafichagran Fri 11-Apr-25 21:34:20

Michael Fabricant was put in a very difficult position there. Why on earth did Chesney ask that question and why did Tricia stir things up. I can understand why Daley walked out.
I think that could have got very nasty.

Shinamae Fri 11-Apr-25 15:41:19

Love Mickey
Not so much, Trisha
Or Danny
The others haven’t made an impression yet either way

BlueBelle Fri 11-Apr-25 08:32:57

Ok late to the game I haven’t watched CBB or BB for years but took a look online last night so I m valid to comment I knew half of ‘the cast’ and had never heard of the other half
My take on that small window Michael ‘of the hair’ comes across as a bit vulnerable….a conservative MP vulnerable!!! Why would he not get a nice looking wig if he has to have one at all is he so blind ? Jack, I m surprised I thought he’d be very popular but he doesn’t really seem to want to be there (also a hair man)
Micky either has a substance problem or a mental health problem, probably both, certainly not a team player but again seems rather vulnerable Trisha is a wee bit up her own bum Daley seems laid back and a nice guy as does chesney Hawks
Don’t take to the drag queen at all the lips are annoying snd the mannerisms too I prefer a drag queen that comes over ‘ not as a ‘drag queen’ in everyday life situations,

I don’t think I know any of the others

Toetoe Fri 11-Apr-25 08:04:35

I record late and live because I can skim past the adverts and what I think are silly bits . Who on earth is the person who doesn't wear trousers , I know he was in last years house , how did he become famous? What is the no trousers look all about !

Re the house , so far they are all being tolerant of each other , but Mickey is a strange one , i wonder why he sleeps on the sofa instead of his bed , as is Michael , how did he become an MP ? 😒

crazyH Fri 11-Apr-25 00:41:15

Thanks raffichagran

rafichagran Fri 11-Apr-25 00:38:35

Sorry its on at 10.00 after big Brother finishes on ITV2 it discusses big brother and is presented By AJ and Will.

rafichagran Fri 11-Apr-25 00:36:33

Late and live.

crazyH Fri 11-Apr-25 00:31:10

Btw what’s L& L ?

LadyGaGa Fri 11-Apr-25 00:29:13

I’m not too keen on Jack. He looks miserable and just slumps on the sofa
all day. He’s probably very nice but I just don’t like the cut of his jib! Michael gives me the heebie jeebies a bit, but I find him interesting and I did feel a bit sorry for him tonight. When Mickey was talking about being in for four more days, I did wonder if that’s what he’d agreed to do - I don’t think he’ll be in much longer.
I agree about Trisha - holier than thou.
I think Chris and Chesney seem nice and kind hearted.
I’m warming to Donna.

rafichagran Fri 11-Apr-25 00:26:39

Voted 4 for Jack
1 for Mickey
I hope Jack stays as I think he could have alot more to give, Michael I think could become boring.

Doodledog Fri 11-Apr-25 00:11:11

I have used my votes to save Jack. I'm not sure why, really, other than that I'm a Corrie fan grin.

I don't much care who goes out of Michael and Mickey - I neither like nor particularly dislike either of them. I'm not convinced that Mickey is as gormless as he seems though. I'm sure they've tightened up on duty of care obligations these days.

rafichagran Thu 10-Apr-25 22:33:05

I think Jack was so much better tonight, he seemed unfazed and quite gracious.
I thought the reason he gave for nominating Danny was funny.

crazyH Thu 10-Apr-25 22:22:41

YorkLady - really? Perhaps he’s going to surprise everyone on his eviction day. He will remove and show us a glorious head of dark hair. Oh, I can Google him to check his hair 😂

Grannynannywanny Thu 10-Apr-25 22:20:34

I think Jack will be shocked to hear he had 8 nominations. Mickey is an interesting character and I’d like to see him saved for now . I felt a bit sorry for Michael. He looked genuinely hurt and surprised that he’d been nominated. From the 3 nominees I’d like to see Jack evicted.

YorkLady Thu 10-Apr-25 22:17:22

crazyH

I think Michael will go - he is harmless enough, but uninteresting - he could have bought a better wig 😂-

But he’s not saying it IS a wig??🤣🤣
