She's a thoroughly nasty piece of work. I happen to know two people who worked for her at various points in the past, and both said she was a nightmare to work for.

It was a really interesting documentary wasn’t it? She was certainly a very driven person and not happy either.

I didn't see this but they have donated to and started charities, one of which is under investigation, I understand.

He still has a personal wealth of $184 billion.
He’s very choosy in who he donates to and those donations come with ties.

You don't need to apologise. I don't think Gates is a saint. The article you quote states he gives away a tiny amount of money but its what "he could never possibly spend on himself ". Which was exactly my point. So thanks, Petra.

I'm surprised that Bill Gates hasn't used a little of his vast wealth to have a few voice lessons to stop him sounding like Kermit the Frog.
Still, if he's donating billions to countries who need it - good luck to him.

I understand that Ms Mone's assets have been frozen ( £75 million).
We don't know how responsible/ involved this woman and her husband were in the MedPro mess, but what struck me is the implications of huge monies to be made.
I never fail to be surprised how the very, very wealthy seem driven to want more.
