Good point vegansrock..
I watched on record so I skimmed past the Emmerdale people.
Why did none of the airbags in any of the cars seem to work?
Shades of Bobby Ewing in the shower with characters miraculously coming back from the dead! It was totally manic, daft and too dark to see the plot twists & turns.
It would have worked better with a longer lead up maybe a couple of imaginative joint episodes setting up for the final scenario?
At the same time there were very bitty, frustrating semi conclusions to storylines we've (sometimes tediously) followed for months - thinking the Ray/Celia/April scenario for Emmerdale fans - very frustrating and unsatisfying. Why don't "they" listen?
Well, I enjoyed it but, yes, it was manic. I don't watch Emmerdale, but could only conclude that they have storylines as daft as some of Corrie's.
I didn't see Billy's death coming - that was a surprise. Now Todd has lost his only safe place, what is going to happen to him?
I laughed, too, at Lisa whipping out her handcuffs as she lay badly injured in the ambulance - she'd been on her way to leave the country, for goodness sake, what was she doing with handcuffs.
And has Kevin killed Carl? If he has I hope he keeps his mouth shut, and doesn't get the blame for it.
All the nastier characters just got even nastier.

Forgive me it’s early!just realised I d already said most of that last post last night Dah
Both have a lit in common, everyone has slept with everyone an most have killed someone.
I know that viewing figures have slumped and therefore I think the scriptwriters are desperately trying to win people back. They are probably trying to get Corrie viewers to start watching Emmerdale, and vice versa.
If so, that was not the way to do it. I have to admit that I enjoyed the episode, despite the glaring faults, and I found it quite easy to follow the Emmerdale thread, even though I don’t watch it. I even enjoyed it, but it hasn’t in the slightest made me want to start watching Emmerdale as well as the Corrie I have watched since 1960! I did actually enjoy Emmerdale back in the days when it was ‘Emmerdale farm’. As usual, scriptwriters couldn’t leave well alone and turned it into ‘Emmerdale’. At that point, it went rapidly downhill, and I haven’t watched it since that time.
When will they learn that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t need fixing?
I too was a bit confused regarding what Theo actually did for Billy. It was obvious he undid Billy's seatbelt, but not obvious what he did next. I watched it twice, but still wasn't sure.
I think joining the two soaps only worked for those who watch both. I had no idea who the Emmerdale characters were and what their back stories were. It didn't work for me.
It was so far fetched when a very injured Lisa was on a stretcher in the ambulance and just happened to have a pair of handcuffs at the ready to cuff Becky. 🤣. As someone else said, where was the tool to break car windows or a seat belt cutter?

It’s been on SM for some time that Billy was being written out, but of course, no spoilers on GN to ‘spoil’ it for others.
As soon as I realised Billy was to be the people carrier driver, I knew that would be his exit.
One or two more going out, but my lips are 🤐
My guess and hope is that Theo, Becky and Carl all get their comeuppance. All deserve prison sentences, lengthy ones.

I think ‘Billy’ has already started a theatre role. He did want to leave, as I understand it. Shame. I liked his character and he was a calming presence when there were problems.

theworriedwell I wondered that too. However, I googled a bit and found nothing to suggest that. Quite the opposite.
That's a shame. He's back on stage I've read. Hope he's happy.

Of all the dreadful characters they could have got rid of? they chose Billy! Lisa, Betsy, Becky, Theo, would have bee sooooo happy to see the back of them. Will have to either wind though or stop watching altogether.
Maybe Billy wanted to leave? Sometimes actors do want to stretch their wings a bit.

I suppose it'll be a reset for a lot of stories. Carla/Swayne will be back on. Todd and Theo? Shona's baby? David's collapse? So many new lines for these stories to follow. I don't watch Emmerdale but suspect that will be the same for them.
We are supposed to believe that with the number of people involved including police and car mechanics that nobody had an implement for smashing car windows and cutting seat belts!!! Let's have some realism for pity's sake.
Last night's offering smacked of desperation from the scriptwriters. Far too much going on and most of it past ridiculous.
Carla- aka Superwoman.
Locked up for days by crazy Becky, no toilet, deprived of her ‘meds’, but after being re-locked up in some shed on wasteland, given a bottle of water, and hey ho, she’s like an Olympian!
Both her and hero Kit deserve medals, oh and Asha, who has re-discovered her vocation.
Forgive me it’s early!just realised I d already said most of that last post last night Dah
Kit s in the woods, running after John (he thinks) but johns already dead (I think).
I m going to watch it again on iPlayer to try and get it all clearer
Cain looks as if he has a mass, but not sure where and may not be malignant. Shona is baby crying/ screaming . David has a seizure ( they just remembered he has epilepsy) Ray is dead in the van Jai s driving !!! Don’t ask I don’t know, how he got there.
I ve seen talk about ‘Graham being back but I don’t know him and Shona s sister running but I can’t remember Shona having a sister !!
Debbie seems ok but is Carl dead? Billy is dead? Theo could have got him out but didn’t booo Mac has something sticking out his arm Did Victoria kill John ???
Dr Liam, trainee dr Jacob, and paramedic Asha all working overtime
Who have I left out oh yes looks as if Becky’s time is up hooray and Carla after being starved hit over the head and weeing and pooing in a cupboard for weeks is running around like a good en 🤣
It was MANIC
I enjoyed it despite not knowing half the characters. A lot happened- Billy dead- did Kev kill Carl? David having a fit- Shona in Labour- where is Kit? Lisa arrested Becky in an ambulance- how did Ken get to the hospital so quickly? Will Asha go back to being a paramedic? Is this hospital Weathy General?
I didn’t like it very much and think Theo killed Billy.
Ah, that would make sense, thanks. I was counting stitches on my knitting when it happened (life in the fast lane 😀).
Doodledog Shona seemed to become hysterical when David had a seizure. He was diagnosed with epilepsy many years ago and it has barely been mentioned since then.
I enjoyed it but have no idea who the Emmerdale people are. I knew Cain Dingle and recognised the woman who tried to chat up Carla in the lift, but otherwise they were just extras. That didn’t spoil it though.
Why did Shona howl in the hospital? I was looking down at that point, and the next thing I saw was a doctor telling Cain he has a tumour. David had gone to get help, so nothing had happened to him. I’m sure it will all come out in the wash, but I think I missed something.
