I've just read that Corrie has won the latest best soap award.
Despite its many current irritations, some old ingrained loyalty still has me rooting for Corrie 😂.

They need to wash their mouths out 🧴with it then after all the bed hopping 😂

It's not family viewing as young people aren't interested in watching Corrie.
I think there are some interesting storylines and the balance is a little better. Some episodes are terrific. There are characters I don't like but that's just personal preference.

I have to agree with recent posters that Corrie has far too many storylines centred around sex these days. Is the watershed still in existence for what's acceptable before a certain time?
The present scriptwriters are the worse we have ever had. I don't watch other soaps. Are they all sex mad these days?

There is too much bed hopping. I don't think it is necessary and neither are the sexual comments between Theo and Todd.

It’s just not the Corrie I know and love any more.

Last night we see James zipping up his flies having just had sex with Carl in the hotel. It is just horrible.

Are we to assume there's going to be bad news about Rita? Or was Jenny laying it on to get sympathy from George?

So the speed dating began at five o clock. Very unlikely, with most people still at work. But they never film in the evening!

I think Debbie is suspicious of Carl & Abi now. As he is living in her hotel it should be easy to catch them out.

We've done the Coronation Street tour too. It was great. Even my husband enjoyed it and he hates Coronation Street. We rang a taxi and they were called Street Cars.

Yes, Carl is truly awful, and so is Abi now imho, not only for the cheating and not caring at all about the thought of leaving Jack, but for going along with all horrible Carl’s schemes. And I too wish Theo and his whole horrible family would disappear.

Then seeing as people rarely leave the street to find a new partner, perhaps Todd and James…?

Now and then, we get a good night of excellent acting. I wish Theo would take a one-way ticket anywhere but please leave Todd alive.

Ryan looked as though he was wearing his Mum's old blouse. I couldn't take my eyes off it!

Todd's uncertainty around Theo and his moods is very realistic.

It is very well done. The actor playing Todd is very good, but Theo less so. I'm finding the abusive relationship more believable than I did the Yasmeen/Geoff one.

Yes! The actor who plays Todd is doing a great job of looking very scared of Theo now. His poor little face last night! 😢
