I think Brodie is a good looking lad, and I like his hair.
I don't find any of the characters disgusting, but dislike the ones I'm supposed to (eg Theo, or Tracy) which is as it should be. If we liked all of them it would definitely be a sign of poor acting
. I couldn't care less about the number of gay characters - a love story is a love story - and like having people like Evelyn to make me laugh. Corrie has always been good at domineering matriarchs, and Evelyn is following in the footsteps of Blanche, Phyllis and Ena.
They could make more of Brian, maybe as a Norris-type character, and I'd like to see Fiz do more than she does. She was good when John Snape was on the go, and is capable of much better storylines. I think if they rationalised the cast, so they have fewer people doing more it would work better. The actors would be paid more, so they could attract good ones, and meatier storylines would be better for the viewers.
I'm far from ready to stop watching, and I don't think Corrie has lost its soul, but it could do with an injection of oomph. I've said it before, but three hours a week is too much.

in fact I enjoyed last night’s episode, on the whole - it’s about time we had a bit of humour, imho.
