Very sad this lovely short series has ended. Hamza's unquenchable enthusiasm and his knowledge on wildlife has kept me and my youngest GD happily entertained for the past 4 weeks.
C-Beebies "Let's Go For A Walk" 15 episodes. He's my 9 year old granddaughter's hero. She wrote a wonderful piece about him for Black History month recently 🥰
I remember Hamza on Countryfile and I think he was a presenter/cameraman on other programmes. I think he was on CBeebies too but I haven't watched that for awhile.
Hamza's camera must cost a fortune and weigh a ton but he was outdone in last night's episode with the fungi lady who had an incredible set up of cameras managing to film fungi that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Wonderful series.
We watched the last episode of Scotland from the Sky ,it was lovely so we’ve downloaded all the other episodes to watch . It’s worth seeing and he does land on water and ground to investigate the history .
Hamza is lovely. And he has the knack of conveying his love of nature to us and make it beautiful and fascinating. A worthy successor to the marvellous David Attenborough, but with his own style.
What is he going to do when his hair reaches the ground😊 it is nearly there. Must take for ever to dry!!
Hamza washes his hair twice a week and it takes 5 hours to dry according to his interview with the Radio Times. I wondered if his long hair had some religious belief behind it but he refuses to cut it as an act of rebellion. His Mum made him have his hair cut very short which he always hated. Once he was 17 and at college he made the decision to let it grow.

How does he swim underwater with it? Doesn’t it weigh him down? I can only watch it on my iPad because, for some reason on the tv the picture went very weird and only showed a small but blown up section of what he was filming. I’m going to put it on again to see if it works.
