Allo Allo was a classic sitcom that poked fun at everyone and was a send up of Secret Army. I can remember watching re runs a couple of years ago and I still laughed a lot at the characters.

Ohh, thank you for jogging my memory regarding this fabluous, silly yet utterly brilliant programme. I loved all the darft characters. We often to resort to copying the silly accents in our house, I don't know what the neighbours think!

I often say " good moaning" to my family. Or" it is I, leclerk". I think it was a parody of Secret Army as there are many similarities.

We have been watching repeats recently as funny as ever, as was Dads Army, the French really hated Allo Allo

Eet eez I, Leclerc was a great source of amusement for DC when we were holidaying in France.

Grandmabatty - We often do the same and say, "Good moaning" and "It is I, Le Clerc." And the ongoing joke that Rene a middle aged portly man was this sex god that no woman could resist. Brilliant, happy times.
