Prince George did his mother proud. His first official engagement.
As usual it was a moving event if you can take Rod Stewart with a large pinch of salt.

I thought this year was much better than it has been recently. Rod Stewart really should pack it in and retire, voice SO reedy now. In my opinion Hannah Waddington was brilliant and perfect and the Māori lady and the Wellermen sang well too but some odd music choiceslate night for Prince George but he does look the part

I thought it felt rushed with not as much content. When they started to build the drumhead I thought, What, already?
It also lacked contributions from young people.

I thought the whole event was the best ever! I had a lump in my throat nearly all the time. Perhaps Rod Stewart decided he would do it for all the older veterans there. He must know his voice isn’t the same any more but good on him to do it.

I love Rod but...Sailing was awful, off key and flat. He's needing to retire gracefully
