I watched an episode from a couple of days ago. Two contestants were excused from a couple of tasks for some reason or other, medical, I think. The same thing happened with Anne Hegarty on a previous year. This annoyed me. If they know in advance that they are not up to even trying, they shouldn’t enter the jungle at all. It isn’t fair on the others either.

It is artificial and designed specifically for the purposes of the show. (It is in the lowland subtropical rainforest area)

Germany and the USA use the exact same set. It is also shared with versions from other countries including France, Sweden, India and Hungary.

It does not interfere with the Australian ecosystem.

I think you'll find that far more eco-systems are being destroyed throughout the world to provide food for growing populations than in that tiny, privately owned area of Australia.

And isn't Vogue the one who does the Fairy adverts? Her children are quite young and, anyway, I expect the pay from that is enough to pay school fees.

Does anyone remember the early series where the contestants were weighed before and after? I suppose it's now considered non pc but I suspect it's due them having access to more food now than of old and not losing much weight. I remember one episode where they were that hungry that they tried to catch a rat. Now it's venison and veg! I think it has had it's day and is too samey now but still find myself watching but have to fast forward Cant & Feck as never have found them funny.

Watched it all last night apart from the eating and drinking trials, which turn my stomach. Think Jack stands out with his calm manner and getting things done, amazing when you consider his upbringing. No judgement on his family, just love for them all. Kelly is unfair to Jack, she does things wrong due to not listening and panics and blames him. Vogue never stops squealing..I had never heard of Ginge or Aitch but they seem to be popular, also always switched Tom off so due to his daft voice and still won’t listen to his shows but what a nice person.

Kate, Ozzy, had that down to earth sense of humour and getting on with things associated with Birmingham, despite his mad years, never quite found it anywhere else in the country., However I digress.

I doubt very much she needs the money, maybe, she wants to do something for herself as her husband is always off doing ultra marathons or ultra Ironman events to raise money foe charity.

I absolutely hate all of the contestants and all those in the past and all those in the future, same with the hosts.

I've signed countless petitions over the years to get this sewer trash closed for the animals.

NOBODY in there is nice or likeable, they're a bunch of egomaniacal minus-z-listers that nobody has ever heard of or cares about, torturing and murdering various insects, animals, rats, snakes, etc. just to boost their already universal-sized self-obsessed egos and for the money.

When will this animal murdering sludge be banned? Why isn't anyone being jailed for animal cruelty? Apparently, never.

I love Tom. I have a bit of an interest in Jack as someone in my family went out with Ozzy's brother in the 70s.

I must admit I admired Jack for the way he has conducted himself. I have now grown to like him.

I’m fascinated by the things they put themselves through especially the eating trials as my camp mates would definitely go hungry if it was left to me. 🤮
They’re all so lovely in there this year that I can’t decide. I usually vote but not this year as I can’t choose one. They’re all characters in their own right and each have something different to offer.
All the stories the celebs tell are interesting especially this year as Jack is opening up about his family life with Ozzie and Sharon and now this evening he’s telling Kelly about his grandfather and mother’s falling out. Intriguing.

I have a soft spot for Ruby. I don’t think she’ll win but I hope she makes it to the final 3. Aitch and Ginge have such a huge online following I think they’ll be neck and neck till the end. Tom is lovely. I’d like to see him win.

You obviously watch it avidly every years to know so much about all the contestants, the hosts, the whole show in fact.

Perhaps you can let me know who some of the contestants are as I only dip in from time to time and I'm not sure.
