Anyone tuned in to this. I did last night. What a debacle. Is there nothing they won’t do for money?. Ruby Wax has had some sort of face lift, unbelievable.. Contestand just sticking their faces in mountains of animal entrails, blood and guts everywhere. I think they would eat dirt. .Jack Osbourne is the most grounded and likeable and also Lisa Riley, still they went in. The others not so. They are all wealthy people, they don't need the money, its not character building in anyway, I do not get it..Is it just any publicity is better than none. Cannot see how it will do Kelly any favours whatsoever.

BlueBelle Thu 27-Nov-25 06:58:00

I only tuned in briefly hoping it would be entertaining
unlike you Allsorts I didn’t take to Jack Osbourne at all and definitly not a Lisa Riley fan and realised I d made the right decision to not watch after that annoying Tom whatsit came in with his dreadful put on voice poor Rubys face looks messy I agree
Anyway I had my half hours viewing that ll do me for this series
I think it’s got poor viewing figures this time so maybe the last

I m very unhappy with the treatment of the animals and insects too

Georgesgran Thu 27-Nov-25 08:07:26

It’s not something I watch, but I love Tom Read Wilson. He’d get my vote.

Astitchintime Thu 27-Nov-25 08:26:22

I don’t tune in either but I did see a snippet on last Fridays Gogglebox……….those snakes just horrified me! 😱😱😱

GrannyGravy13 Thu 27-Nov-25 08:48:17

Georgesgran I really like Tom Read Wilson 👍

BlueBelle IACGMOOH ratings are up not down (9%)

ITV’s biggest audience in the 16-34 age group since EURO’s 2024

It has had over 400 million streams as of 10/11/25

Smileless2012 Thu 27-Nov-25 09:04:44

I look forward to it every year. I suppose it's like marmite; love it or hate it. We love it.

I like Tom too Georgesgran and GG. They're all good so can't pick a winner but would like it if it's Tom.

Patsy70 Thu 27-Nov-25 09:24:09

Doesn’t the money go to the charity the winner chooses?

Bukkie Thu 27-Nov-25 09:36:42

I love it but I am a huge Ant and Dec fan. They are a likeable bunch this year. I don't watch Emmerdale but Lisa Riley is a lovely, kind person and I think she will win.

Grandmadinosaur Thu 27-Nov-25 10:04:38

I wasn’t a fan of Tom before but I’ve really warned to him in the jungle.

Grandmadinosaur Thu 27-Nov-25 10:05:08

*warmed that should read

My sister and bil used to be addicted to this programme. Me and DH used to be incredulous that they could watch such drivel. A few years ago we tuned in out of curiosity. We are now hooked. For some reason we love it and usually avoid anything 'celebrity'. Yes some of them will do anything for money I agree.

HowVeryDareYou2 Thu 27-Nov-25 10:18:58

I watched this recently, and thought how odd Ruby Wax looks. I read somewhere that she's being paid £95,000 for taking part. Jack Osbourne, Angry Ginge (never heard of him) and Aitch (again, unknown to me), I found very likeable, the same as Tom Read Wilson (his voice is surely put on)

keepingquiet Thu 27-Nov-25 10:20:07

Never watch it and don't understand why anyone finds this entertaining.

Each to their own I suppose...

henetha Thu 27-Nov-25 10:45:26

Yes, each to their own, always. Well, I like it. I find it entertaining and I enjoy getting to know the people, some of which I had never heard of.
They all seem quite nice this year. We could do with a bit of controversy to liven it up bit. But generally, I'm enjoying it.

Ziplok Thu 27-Nov-25 10:48:11

I’ve never watched it, I’ve seen bits of it on gogglebox, and that is more than enough. I think it is time some of these programmes were consigned to room 101.

rafichagran Thu 27-Nov-25 10:53:04

I like Tom and Lisa. I also have respect for Jack, although I dont know if I like him. I think he deserves to get to the final though.
I laughed when told, that my 12 year old Grandson said, he did not know any of the celebrity's except Angry Ginge. He was the only one I did not know. I think it may be because the programme wants to attract younger viewers.

keepingquiet Thu 27-Nov-25 13:12:15

I saw enough people throwing up when I was a nurse- why would I find this entertaining. I just don't get it. Maybe I'm the strange one because it does seem very popular.

Beau1958 Thu 27-Nov-25 14:38:02

Honestly are they all so fame hungry to put themselves through this ! It’s pathetic in my opinion

I agree, never seen such a likeable bunch before. I think the elimination is going to be very difficult. They all appear genuinely nice. Poor Ruby's face. Sh3 should demand her money back.

Sheila11 Thu 27-Nov-25 14:50:00

I think they do it for charity. I’m not sure now though 🤔
My brother did it years ago.
He also did ‘Strictly’ as I had a dance school and the kids kept asking me, so I kept asking him. Finally he went on, damaged his elbow week 1, his knee week 3 and was then voted out the week I was supposed to go and watch!! 😂Disaster!
I don’t watch Strictly any more. So many of the kids watch it and the dances have all become so suggestive, but the dancers constant cuddling and crying over every single one having the ‘best’ or ‘hardest working’ partner they’ve ever had - purleeeese! They all work hard, they all get paid very well for doing it - so just leave it at that eh?

Kate1949 Thu 27-Nov-25 14:54:31

I'm pretty sure they don't do it for charity!

No there isn't a winner's prize at all - just the joy of the media exposure boosting their careers!

They do, however, receive an Appearance Fee which varies depending on the stature of the person. I think that the highest fee has been paid to Nigel Farage and Colleen Rooney who are said to have both received £1,500 000 each.

Georgesgran I really like Tom Read Wilson 👍

Me too - I love Tom and he was hilarious when he copied Aitch's accent. I think he is very talented

If you don’t watch it, how can you make that comment? Just wondering.
