Anyone tuned in to this. I did last night. What a debacle. Is there nothing they won’t do for money?. Ruby Wax has had some sort of face lift, unbelievable.. Contestand just sticking their faces in mountains of animal entrails, blood and guts everywhere. I think they would eat dirt. .Jack Osbourne is the most grounded and likeable and also Lisa Riley, still they went in. The others not so. They are all wealthy people, they don't need the money, its not character building in anyway, I do not get it..Is it just any publicity is better than none. Cannot see how it will do Kelly any favours whatsoever.

The show is well past its sell by date now. Boring Z listers. There are usually a couple that are likeable but not this time. I’m out.

Never watch it and don't understand why anyone finds this entertaining.

Each to their own I suppose...

If you don’t watch it, how can you make that comment? Just wondering.

Years ago I was ill in hospital whilst having chemo. It was on TV so I had no choice but to listen even if I didn't always see the screen.
I preferred the chemo- at least there was a reason for me to throw up...

Oh, that makes sense now. That made me laugh! (Not the throwing up, just the way you phrased it)

Haven't watched it since the Welsh castle

Patsee Thu 27-Nov-25 17:08:26

Love it. Watch it every year.

Babamaman Thu 27-Nov-25 16:54:22

No never watch it? Where is the entertainment value? Just don’t get it at all! Just proves production companies have more money than sense!
You don’t need to watch the whole thing as This morning and the earlier show and Lorraine all talk about it and show extracts all mornings!
Nah - big brother, housewives series, Kardashian’s, married at first sight ? No sorry don’t watch any of these trash things for me?

I stopped watching I'm a Celebrity several years ago. It started to feel quite queasy about watching people taking part in the most horrible challenges. In some ways, it felt sadistic. I think it was a challenge where they had to crawl through a tunnel, getting electric shocks (or something like that) that finally made me decide it was demeaning to take part, and demeaning to watch.

It's a shame because I did enjoy the interactions between the people taking part - often being surprised at the unlikely friendships that developed. I don't think it needs to be outrageous to still be entertaining. It concerns me that people actually enjoy other people being hurt or made to do revolting things.

I don’t get it either

It needs to be sent to room 101. Past its sell by date

polly123 Thu 27-Nov-25 16:09:48

I have watched previous series. They do it so that they can get a fee and somehow remind you that they are still around. It has all become a bit formulaic now and a bit of a cliche. Time to move on?

Bridie22 Thu 27-Nov-25 15:53:59

Love it, its easy silly watching makes a change from all the dramas!
Tom is interesting, Kelly is an all round good sport, they seem a happy bunch this year.

Jockytaff Thu 27-Nov-25 15:52:26

During the 80's, Clive James had a TV show that looked at TV from around the world. The Japanese had a show called Endurance that featured regularly. Clive's studio audience used to be appalled at the feats the contestants had to endure and yet some 40 odd years on, here we are.

Laurensnan Thu 27-Nov-25 15:37:54

Me too, I love it. Tom is my favourite too. I always look forward to it coming on each year.

lemsip Thu 27-Nov-25 15:25:16

Allsorts They do it for money of course but also they get other contracts for television work from the exposure.

It is gross this year, other years they have had daring ariel tasks to do.

No there isn't a winner's prize at all - just the joy of the media exposure boosting their careers!

They do, however, receive an Appearance Fee which varies depending on the stature of the person. I think that the highest fee has been paid to Nigel Farage and Colleen Rooney who are said to have both received £1,500 000 each.
.

HOW much??? That is ludicrous!

Georgesgran I really like Tom Read Wilson 👍

Me too - I love Tom and he was hilarious when he copied Aitch's accent. I think he is very talented

I'm pretty sure they don't do it for charity!

Sheila11 Thu 27-Nov-25 14:50:00

I think they do it for charity. I’m not sure now though 🤔
My brother did it years ago.
He also did ‘Strictly’ as I had a dance school and the kids kept asking me, so I kept asking him. Finally he went on, damaged his elbow week 1, his knee week 3 and was then voted out the week I was supposed to go and watch!! 😂Disaster!
I don’t watch Strictly any more. So many of the kids watch it and the dances have all become so suggestive, but the dancers constant cuddling and crying over every single one having the ‘best’ or ‘hardest working’ partner they’ve ever had - purleeeese! They all work hard, they all get paid very well for doing it - so just leave it at that eh?

I love it but I am a huge Ant and Dec fan. They are a likeable bunch this year. I don't watch Emmerdale but Lisa Riley is a lovely, kind person and I think she will win.

I agree, never seen such a likeable bunch before. I think the elimination is going to be very difficult. They all appear genuinely nice. Poor Ruby's face. Sh3 should demand her money back.

Beau1958 Thu 27-Nov-25 14:38:02

Honestly are they all so fame hungry to put themselves through this ! It’s pathetic in my opinion

keepingquiet Thu 27-Nov-25 13:12:15

I saw enough people throwing up when I was a nurse- why would I find this entertaining. I just don't get it. Maybe I'm the strange one because it does seem very popular.

rafichagran Thu 27-Nov-25 10:53:04

I like Tom and Lisa. I also have respect for Jack, although I dont know if I like him. I think he deserves to get to the final though.
I laughed when told, that my 12 year old Grandson said, he did not know any of the celebrity's except Angry Ginge. He was the only one I did not know. I think it may be because the programme wants to attract younger viewers.

Ziplok Thu 27-Nov-25 10:48:11

I’ve never watched it, I’ve seen bits of it on gogglebox, and that is more than enough. I think it is time some of these programmes were consigned to room 101.
