I am pleased for Karen, what a lovely young lady she is. She brought the best out in Carlos. I had never heard of George before Strictly but he is a beautiful young man. I thought his Showdance was the best of the night. Amber is a brilliant dancer but was fake and false until the end. But as many have said the true winner was Lewis. I am so sad we never got to see him do an Argentine Tango.

Yes, Bukkie I was looking forward to Lewis' Argentine tango too.

Glad Karen won, she seems to have been through such a lot and hope she gets great joy out of being the glitterball holder.

Would also like to add my thanks for this lovely light hearted thread, I've only dipped in and out but have been entertained by all the comments.

I too voted for George to win last night.

I thought his Viennese Waltz was just amazing, proper dancing and he always came across when interviewed. as being such a lovely person.

I’m not keen on all that throwing around stuff, it’s just not nice to watch.

Carlos cries a bit too much I think.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching last night. I did want George to win as I think he is the most improved, but I was happy to see Karen win—anybody but Amber.

It was also good not having to wait another day for the results, which would have been leaked. Producers, please note.

Yes, the voting only closed at 9, then the whole programme ended at 9.10.

So the independent counting and verifying can be done in a few minutes, if needed.

Surely that is something that will be taken into account, moving forward to next year.
