I've just been to the pantomime, with both my 2 daughters and al 3 grandchildren. It was a total delight. (Oh no, it wasn't!)

Do you still go to a pantomime with your offspring and do you still enjoy it?

There’s a very small theatre in a nearby town that I’ve never been to that has lots of amateur productions. I really must go there and possibly take my grandchildren. I’ve often enjoyed amateur productions far more than professional ones.

Perhaps the difference is the enthusiasm displayed by amateurs doing it for love compared with the professionals doing it for recompense? It's always good to support local theatre of either kind if you are lucky enough to have one nearby.

It’s tucked away behind the main shopping centre. The problem with it is that the car park is a bit dodgy and I wouldn’t want to leave my car there at night. Which is probably why I’ve never been to it even though I’ve lived here for fifty years!
