Waiting for the Out BBC catchup

I watched it- not from the beginning but I just flicked through the usual rubbish and found this. I don't the BBC were 'hiding' it at all.
I found it difficult but intriguing and will watch more, probably on catch-up as I can't remember when I saw it!

I don't think Saturday at 9.30 pm on BBC1 can really be described as hidden away. I'd seen several trailers and was eagerly looking forward to watching. I wasn't disappointed.

This is why I listen to Must Watch. It’s either on radio 3 or 4 on Mondays but I listen to it on Sounds. They review several programmes that they’ve been given previews of, some on terrestrial tv but others on eg Netflix. They also have listeners emailing things that they’ve liked and also have a review of the year. I also really like Hayley and Scott who do the reviews and Naga now hosts it and has been a revelation since she took over. They have great chemistry ( Scott and Hayley have been working together for years). The best thing they recommended was that Leonard dramedy that was on recently. I would never have watched it; again something wonderful that slipped under the radar. I actually got quite emotional watching the second episode of Waiting for the Out ( good comedy always has a bit of pathos added) and it also makes me think ( possibly not good for an over thinker such as myself). It was Hayley who raved about Say Nothing which made me watch it.

I’ve watched the first one after scrolling over other options I didn’t fancy or have seen before.
Sort of got drawn in. Will get to the others when I’m in the right mood but yes certainly different, and well acted and believable.
Why do the BBC hide new things away at unpopular times with absolutely no advertising at all. I don’t watch The One Show.

Maybe they consider it is some sort of challenge for viewers, first to spot it in the schedule, then to understand it🙄

Compare this to programmes like The Traitors or Waterloo Road that are being endlessly trailered -as though they are high art, at every opportunity. Both imo the biggest load of **.

Yes. I was getting my ologys mixed up! It made me think back to when I went on a short course years ago ( not in prison I might add!) If it wasn’t for Must Watch ( along with the people who email them with recommendations) I’d miss no end of programmes..

He's a philosopher. Interesting programme. Very well cast. The lead actor is very convincing and compelling. Poor boy.

I enjoyed it, something different and very well acted.

Josh Finan and Phil Daniets were on the One Show last night.

I think we will watch it.
