Once again, Tina Daheley is sitting in for him - as she has done several times in the past.

So, where has he got to?

Jane43 Mon 12-Jan-26 12:13:56

There is a stand in for him for two weeks on his Channel 5 show, I think he is on holiday.

We can but hope.

Visgir1 Mon 12-Jan-26 12:25:25

Hope so

He is back on 26th January, so I assume he is on holiday. I’m not a fan, I prefer Tina Daheley.

I’ve never watched his programme so I wouldn’t know. I think it is a chat programme?

kittylester Mon 12-Jan-26 12:38:49

This is Radio 2

Darn, I was hoping so.

Oh😄😄 I haven’t heard that either.

Hope you continue to recover😊

How this man keeps his job when thousands loath him is beyond me 🤷‍♀️
I can only assume he knows where the bodies are buried.

He’s filming a quiz show for Channel 5 and will be back when it’s done and dusted.

Millie22 Mon 12-Jan-26 13:42:49

Hope so.

I much prefer Tina. She actually listens to people.

My son reports JV is not on his TV show either. Channel 5.

Thank you WWM2

Agreed! I don't know anyone who likes him. I know several who watch the TV show because of the format (ie soundbite current affairs that can be dipped in and out of whilst doing other morning things), but we all like it better when he's not there.

Litterpicker Mon 12-Jan-26 18:01:56

Maybe it’s because I only see it very occasionally (when DH has it on 😀) but JV always seems very entertaining and skilled at his job. I usually want to carry on watching but I watch far too much in the evenings so have to resist daytime 😂

Channel 5 bought Eggheads when this was cancelled by the BBC, but this hasn't been on Channel 5 for 3 years, suggesting it's been cancelled.

I can’t stand Andrew Castle and he’s been doing the JV show for a week! 😩😩

Come back, Jeremy. All is forgiven! 😂
