New thread.

If they are going to Ireland just go. Fed up with the story line.
Same with Shona’s batty sister and Megan and now we have abused Tim’s storyline to drag it all out. Wish they could get new writers.

N.B.

There is a Corrie episode on Easter Day at 7.30pm.

Charleygirl5 Tue 31-Mar-26 18:57:06

Thanks for that as I just discovered there is nothing tonight. Football is on two channels at peak viewing. It appears to be happening on a weekly basis that Corrie isn't shown and the football season hasn't finished yet.

...and then we have the World Cup!

Oh no!!

Doodledog Tue 31-Mar-26 20:38:54

I’ve just put the tv on to watch it 🙄.

Doodledog Tue 31-Mar-26 21:15:47

Oh, and Peter Ash (who played Paul so well) is in The Teacher on C5. He looks completely different- I had to google to realise it was him!

Charleygirl5 Tue 31-Mar-26 22:32:45

I am saving electricity because I watched zilch.

With luck the World Cup will be shown on a Saturday afternoon.

nanaK54 Wed 01-Apr-26 11:25:12

I admire your optimism Charleygirl but there will be a zillion matches not just the final...

Aveline Wed 01-Apr-26 13:16:27

My heart sinks when I remember the world cup, Wimblebore, cricket and athletics on TV over the summer.

Aveline

My heart sinks when I remember the world cup, Wimblebore, cricket and athletics on TV over the summer.

Plus the odd golf tournament and various horse racing events.

Aveline Wed 01-Apr-26 13:19:16

Oh no. I'd forgotten them sad

Thank you. I have been puzzling where I had seen him before and then realised it was Corrie. However, I never thought of Paul. Well done Doodledog.

Doodledog Wed 01-Apr-26 20:54:46

He looks very different doesn’t he? I knew I recognised him but couldn’t work it out so I googled.

How did Wills gran know about the pregnancy? I must have missed something

Allsorts Wed 01-Apr-26 22:06:30

Was she ever pregnant, I wonder. How does Megan survive shut up in that one room and what keeps her with her young lover?

nanaK54 Wed 01-Apr-26 22:45:21

I think that she was pregnant and had the termination way back.
Ma Driscoll is growing on me "2 fleas looking for a mangy dog" is a great line!

BlueBelle Wed 01-Apr-26 23:30:21

Off topic but someone else mentioned it I started ‘The teacher’ and didn’t take to it at all so switched off half way through

Back to Corrie where is the room that Megan’s living in, have I missed something how did she get there?

Calendargirl Thu 02-Apr-26 07:07:59

BlueBelle

Megan said the other day she had found herself a room/flat to live.

No idea where it is.

How did Maggie know where to go, did she follow Will?

Has she still been pregnant, or has she had an abortion last week, when Will couldn’t get hold of her? The fall was quite convenient, wasn’t it?

Doing away with the DNA evidence.

BlueBelle Thu 02-Apr-26 07:15:09

Thanks Calandergirl I ve think I ve missed a few things later what with football and different nights/ times etc

Grannynannywanny Thu 02-Apr-26 07:34:10

I think Meghan mentioned to Will last week she was moving into a flat at “the precinct”

That seems to be the place for Corrie residents down on their luck. Do Sean and Lauren still live in that building? Sean would be useful for reporting back to Maggie.

It’s the perfect location. There’s even a swing park outside where Will can have a teenage mope. I think we’ve seen all of the Corrie teens moping on those swings at some point.

Charleygirl5 Thu 02-Apr-26 11:41:17

Debbie's dementia was not very convincing to me.

I am sure Megan had an abortion yonks ago.

If anybody gets rid of her by fair means or foul, Maggie will. It will either be by bus or a knife.

I would rather put a knife in Theo. I am 82, would be warm and 3 meals a day served. I am available.

Calendargirl Thu 02-Apr-26 12:52:57

Megan was supposed to be having an abortion weeks ago, but apparently didn’t go through with it.

Who knows though?

Aveline Thu 02-Apr-26 13:14:43

Thanks for your offer Charleygirl15!

Calendargirl Thu 02-Apr-26 20:55:38

Mentioned before, but why on earth did Todd stick the escape bag in a cupboard in the living room?

Hardly stashed away in a secret location.
