The killer presumably will be someone who is definitely scheduled to leave the programme so those judged to still have
‘mileage’ in them, storylines-wise, will be spared.

I thought Summer yesterday had a slightly shifty look, but then that was probably deliberate to keep us guessing which character hated Theo the most.

Tosh! Absolute tosh. How Todd could say he wanted that monster back again is ridiculous. Hope Carl killed him as they had some fight and Ronnie just found him. That way the two of them got what they deserved.

I think Todd’s reaction is really hard to understand for those of us fortunate enough not to have ever been in a controlling, violent relationship, but I have read that the storyline writers had a lot of input from various charities which help victims, so perhaps his reaction is more common than we think.

I agree too that poor Todd was so thoroughly manipulated and coerced by Theo he can't envisage a life without him. It is so hard for anyone who has not experienced this type of control to understand how much it impacts on your life.

I am amazed Carl is not up and about and in the pub. It normally takes 48 hours to recover from major surgery post surgery on Corrie.

The writers aren't great on details like that. I'm always surprised when the police are discussing confidential matters in the Rovers or when Roy's Rolls is understaffed they drag the nearest person behind the counter to start work. No hand washing or qualifications in food & hygiene necessary it seems.

Sarnia the solicitors do likewise. It makes me laugh to see them discussing clients cases in the pub or Speed Dahl.

You would rarely be out of work on Corrie, Anybody can walk in off the street and start to work there. I wouldn't know how a till worked, but they all do. Also, making coffee etc.

Maybe it is Danielle. They obviously want a real twist. Could be anyone, however improbable.

How about Theo’s son? They were at loggerheads when Theo left his wife to live with Todd. I think the murderer will be someone on the periphery rather than one of the main characters.

It certainly looked like Gary. Of course he's murdered before and got away with it.

I hope the storyline of Theo's death doesn't go on for months or even weeks, boring us all to death.

I dearly hope that we are not going to suffer weeks of this parade of every person on Coronation Street being taken to the police station for questioning by Carla's new wife. She couldn't detect her way out of a paper bag, that one!

I’m sick of the sight of Jodie skulking around. I wish the gangsters would come back for her.

I was going to say drop her back on the outskirts of Emmerdale where we first saw her months ago. But I like Emmerdale and I don’t want her spoiling that programme for me.
