The Jodie storyline is so lame...they're making it up as they go along.
That cop shop is very busy and understaffed!!

Storylines are all plotted far into the future to enable interlinking plot lines. The Jodie one is just irritating. Meanwhile poor Todd is being well acted. His confusion and striking out verbally at his loyal friends is spot on.

Yes, I think so. I assumed Daniel must be taking a break, but in that case would they have introduced a new Bertie? Surely even the Barlows (dreadful parents as they all are) wouldn't leave a seven year old with a nonagenarian widowed grandfather?

Did Ken not wonder why the house was unlocked when he and the new Bertie returned, assuming he would have used his own key and not the spare plant pot one?

Jodie is so weird, it’s a ridiculous story line. Why would she put Ken’s slippers on? How come no one noticed her?

So convenient they all decided to wander off to the fish and chip shop.

And how many pints does Todd need to consume to assuage his ‘grief’?

I hope Jodie won’t be Ken’s latest misunderstood wrong un. He worked his magic on Cassie and is maybe in need of another poor misguided character to nurture back onto the straight and narrow.

I think Ken and Harry used the front door whereas Jodie entered through the back.

Well, no one seems to be working at the undertaker’s, apart from Chrissy, who is forever polishing that desk.

It's the wry comments on here that keep me watching as much as the often dire programme itself.

Daniel is the most boring character. His roles seem to be Ground Hog Day.

I do wish she would just 'go away' too but no doubt she will soon be doing the Bertie school run!

I hope Nick, Toyah and Leanne soon realise that Sam is heading for some sort of breakdown. Perhaps Roy may be more aware of what Sam is going through.
