I can't help feeling it is Hope who shopped Daniel to Social Services. All that hand holding when he had his meltdown seemed orchestrated to me and not for a good reason. Did she and Daniel have a run in at some stage? Is it pay back time for her? As for Jodie I feel she blames Shona for everything that has gone wrong in her life because she got out. Definitely wants to drive a wedge between David and Shona. And probably wants her baby or at least to show them as unfit to raise a child. I just wish Daniel would cut his losses and head off somewhere new. Please don't take Jodie with you - point her in another direction.
It is done at the drop of a hat which annoys me. These days it's almost the only programme I watch. Thanks, I will keep my eyes open and report when I see a change.
I would like to see so many characters move, I will order and pay for a mini bus.
There is a different scriptwriter for each episode so little continuity
I’ve taken this screenshot of the Corrie schedule for the coming week and thanks to the football it’s all over the place 😡 No episodes Tuesday or Thursday and the other evenings aren’t at usual times. Hopefully if you click on the screenshot it will enlarge to read it .

Thanks - don't forget we have an episode this evening at 8:30
I don’t like that bit of Corrie I don’t think it’s that well done at all, even in his psychosis Sam wouldn’t hear Roy talking like that to him, imo. So there is an episode tonight although on Grannynannywannys post it’s says ‘Not on Tuesday’
I hope Gary killed Theo I ve never liked him very much and he’s up to something and he’s certainly capable but it’s a bit too obvious I suppose
Hi BlueBelle, I’ve just read your post about this evening. I’ve double checked the ITV website and they’re still saying it’s not on tonight. It says it’s Women’s European Qualifiers match. I checked the guide on my tv box and it says football and no Corrie.
I don’t like the portrayal of Roy as an evil influencer. I think it’s worse than the horrible Theo scenario. Don’t like it at all. Hope this disappears very soon and joins other ridiculous story lines. What the hell has happened to the Corrie I have enjoyed for over 60 years? Roy has been the most consistently decent and likeable person in the series for a long time.No the writers have to muck him up in the most cringeworthy way. I know it’s all in Sam’s head but that’s no excuse.
I agree with you, Lovetopaint. Surely we can be allowed one honourable and decent adult character and one relatively untroubled teen. Besides which, it’s highly unlikely that Sam and evil Roy could carry out their frequent conversations, at school, in the caff, on the street, without anyone around them noticing anything untoward!
It's interesting to show early psychotic episodes experienced by young teenagers but I don't think this is a good way to show it. One can tell when a person is listening or responding to an auditory or visual hallucination without having to see or hear what they are responding to. Could they not have shown Sam just apparently talking to himself but with the script he says demonstrating what's going on?

I feel exactly the same. This storyline is beyond awful.
I feel I need to watch the week Theo got killed again. Maybe Gary saw who killed him - Sarah/Todd? - and took charge of the situation to cover up. So, if I heard correctly, according to Daniel, the Social Worker informed Social Services. I thought she came after he had been reported. Or did he say the School? Losing the plot. Feel the writers need to do a bit of a tidy up so we can see the wood from the trees. Start with Jodie and Megan.
It was the school that rang Social Services, Devorgilla. As for the rest of it - the phone in the skip, Summer’s brooch, Jodie’s agenda, Sarah and Gary’s sneaking around, etc - I’m clueless, wandering in the wood with you, just hoping for a few plot lines to end some time soon. I’ve gone right off Todd, yapping and snapping at all and sundry. I wouldn’t mind now if he was revealed as the killer.
