New thread.

I think the reason Todd didn’t pay with his phone or order another card is because he’s scared stiff of Theo.

You can see him cringing whenever Theo comes near him.

What an awful relationship. How on earth does he think it will end?

Him living in fear the rest of his life with someone he doesn’t love, trust, want, fancy…?

Doodledog Thu 12-Feb-26 08:04:43

I could understand his not paying by phone in front of Théo, but when he disappeared for days it just didn’t make sense. He borrowed money from George, which is more likely to annoy Théo. Is his salary still going into his own account? That might explain it, I suppose. Théo would see every transaction on the joint account.

Sam was worrying about not getting ahead with his work. The methylphenidate is an ADHD drug which could help him to stay awake this having more time for study. That was already alluded to last night.

Aveline Thu 12-Feb-26 08:38:07

Thus not this.

Agreed.
Don't do it Sam, poor boy...

Doodledog Thu 12-Feb-26 10:29:53

Oh, that makes sense. Poor Sam. I hope Megan is exposed very soon. I assume something will happen involving Tim, as we had the reference to a similar experience in his own youth.

There are too many rotters on the Street just now. Theo, Megan, Carl, Maggie - all baddies. Is Kit still villainous, or has he been rehabilitated?

Calendargirl Thu 12-Feb-26 11:21:07

Kit just has to smile and I forgive him anything!

😍

Aveline Thu 12-Feb-26 12:48:15

Kit just seems to be OK now. I can't understand how the Todd/Theo story is still going on.

BlueBelle Thu 12-Feb-26 15:30:01

But calandrgirl * you don’t see it through the same eyes when you are in the middle of it, you don’t see what other people see That’s why they say the a beaten or hit woman in a relationship, takes an average of 12 incidents before they try to get away They constantly blame themselves, they are doing something wrong, they are causing the anger and grief, they are giving the partner a hard time making them angry etc etc they need to try harder ( Todd and his running exercise eating etc) They are doing the storyline well

Grannynannywanny Thu 12-Feb-26 21:05:30

Poor Todd. I fear he’s eventually going to crack and and attack the vile Theo and do him serious harm. Not that I’m bothered about Theo but I’d hate to see Todd in court.

Really not buying into Sam taking ADHD medication. He is far too sensible and it's a real stretch to think he would involve himself with illegal drugs.

Is it for ADHD? I wondered if he was taking something to keep him awake for longer. Megan is worming her way into his head by saying other teachers are concerned about his drop in form with his schoolwork. Sam is bright and self motivated and this will worry him so he is trying to work longer hours, hence the tablets. Megan stole his homework and Daniel has given Sam a late mark, the first he has ever had and he's mortified. I hope Sam is the one to expose Megan.

Calendargirl Fri 13-Feb-26 17:37:44

Surely Megan’s pregnancy will soon have to make itself known?

Particularly as daft Will then goes and gives her a personalised babygro in the school corridor?

Duh!

How is she going to fob it off on Daniel, (assuming she is) when Will knows (or thinks) it’s his?

Calendargirl Fri 13-Feb-26 17:38:58

I do like Ollie, he seems so nice.

Doesn’t need to waste his time on mardy Lauren.

Lovetopaint037 Fri 13-Feb-26 19:32:59

Just fed up with Todd continuing to take abuse from Theo. Theo in charge of his money so leaving Todd with a few coins and he says nothing!!! We thought Billy had convinced him that he was being gaslighted and something was going to happen. No in Corrie style it drags on ad nauseam.

Maggiemaybe Fri 13-Feb-26 20:09:40

Yes. I know that in real life abusive relationships do go on and get worse for a long time, but this is a soap, one not usually known for its real time stories, and my nerves really can’t take much more for poor Todd. He needs to be rescued now, by George, Sarah, Kit, Gary or any of his many friends, if not by Eileen or Jason riding in to the rescue and sorting vile Theo out once and for all.

Clawdy Sat 14-Feb-26 08:28:54

Yes, come back, Jason!

Cabowich Sat 14-Feb-26 13:54:41

Todd's behaviour is so off-kilter, I can't see why the other characters haven't twigged what's going on yet.

nanaK54 Sat 14-Feb-26 15:13:22

Oh my giddy aunt - Will is meant to be some sort of elite runner - I laughed when he came galumphing along, I can run better than that! (Not sure that I can really!)

Poor Todd, I can't bear it...

Jodieb Sat 14-Feb-26 16:27:53

Perhaps things will move along when Todd realises Billy's photo has vanished. The last straw maybe. Maybe. I live in hope.

Aveline Sat 14-Feb-26 17:01:26

Billy's painting has also disappeared

We thought that! 🤣🤣

Poor Todd, it's heartbreaking to watch. C'mon Christina save him.

Bukkie Sun 15-Feb-26 01:54:45

I like Ollie, I think he should work in the Bistro. He is too good for mardy Lauren.

nanaK54 Mon 16-Feb-26 21:24:45

Oh my goodness I am not going to like this 'flash forward' business!
