Do you ever wish you could erase a particular show from your mind, so you could have the joy of watching it afresh again?

Nandalot Sat 17-Jan-26 11:19:54

DH is watching Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for the umpteenth time. Like others on here, we have recently rewatched Foyle’s War. Still excellent. Rewatched Mash. Loads of Christmas films, like Nativity and Home Alone.

Yes. Having said that I watched Pans Labyrinth on tv recently, not having seen it since we saw it at the cinema ( I then went on to watch every other film the director had made) and couldn’t actually remember what happened at the end so I almost enjoyed* it as much as I did first time round.
* should probably say appreciate given that it is such a harrowing watch.

My favourite version of Jane Eyre is the black and white 1943 one starring Joan Fontaine as Jane. It captures the dark , moody and mysterious elements of the story and the atmosphere at Lowood is cold and haunting.
