I'm watching the Forsyte Saga. Not the latest one, not the very old original one 1967, but the one in the middle 2002? It's fairly easy to follow, I thought that latest one was terrible. Years ago I had ALL the cassettes, must have had a good brain in those days to listen and follow.

He is also a very good dancer

Last night's episode picked up a bit, but it's been a bit of a slog so far. Not as good as the first series, will stick with it.
Like Tom Hiddleston, saw him as the "guest" performer in "The Play that I wrote" in Chichester he was a good sport and very funny.

We are loving the second series just as much. Tom Hiddleston is a wee bit delicious and I agree with you PinkCosmos he would make a great James Bond.

Yes, Tom has aged and does look a bit gaunt, but still pretty fit.

To me though, Olivia Colman has aged worse.

I know she was pregnant in the first series, and it was 10 years ago, but she no longer looks bonny, and her hair looks old fashioned.

Plus she has deceived poor Tom, I don’t know how she has the gall to mouth off to him.

(I’m not her biggest fan, since she won her Oscar, she seems quite the ‘lovie’).

We hadn't watched the first series so we binge watched that last week. We have now watched up to episode 4 of the second series. You can't binge watch it all. The next two episodes are out next Sunday and the Sunday after.

Whilst I don't think it is as good as the first series, it does pick up after episode three.

Tom Hiddleston does look older but the first series was ten years ago. In fairness, everyone looked older. Olivia Coleman looked quite a bit thinner but she was pregnant in real life in the first series

I think he would make a great James Bond - if he isn't considered too old. He has that sophistication that some of the earlier Bonds had.

I did notice the badly fitting cream suit. It surprised me as you would have thought the director or someone would have straightened it up a bit. He was walking directly towards the camera as well.

Oh dear!
Must say so far I don’t think it’s a patch on the first series.

Me neither.

Too many characters, far too confusing although it could be because I was trying to following a difficult pattern at the same time, simply because it just wasn't gripping me.

Have just watched episode 1.
Am a bit stunned.
Would like subtitles saying what someone is thinking but this is the advantage of a book.
When I have recovered will watch episode 2....

We watched series one again before starting on the second series.
For me, the biggest disappointment is the 'deterioration' of Tom Hiddlestone. He's obviously aged but it seems in keeping fit, he's become gaunt...far too thin. He runs as fast as a greyhound though!
He was seriously gorgeous in the first series.
Yes, I find all the characters confusing but it got easier with every episode. It took a while to get into series two, but we left it on a cliff- hanger last night and have found it entertaining...with an unexpected plot twist.
*Further to my superficial concern regarding Tom H's loss of gorgeousness, can I just add, look out for the ill-fitting cream double-breasted suit.

I think it picked up last night, although I find it a bit difficult to follow.

Tom Hiddlestone is doing his own stunts. Wow!

Felt sorry for the prosecutor.

Thank you BBC for the massive spoiler in the trailers. I was saving it for a binge watch!
