Just returned from seeing this fabulous film.

Based on a true story about Clare and Mike Sardina who had a successful Neil Diamond tribute.

I saw the trailer this evening and it looks really good so I'll definitely be going to see it. I think it's a real "feel good" type of film, just right for this time of year.

I saw it with a friend on a wet and windy day this week. What a fabulous film. The two hours just flew by. A story with heart, and heartbreak! Great music too.

Meant to add - there’s a full length feature on YouTube of the original Lightning and Thunder duo - search for “Lightning and Thunder documentary 2008”.

Going to see it this afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Oh, I was sorry I had found it and mentioned it on here - sometimes it is better not to know the truth behind the Holltwood version! I bailed on it, too upsetting after having enjoyed the film so much.

I see Kate Hudson was Oscar nominated as Best Actress, well deserved.

Saw it this afternoon and I loved it. Best film I’ve seen for a long time. DH liked it too so that’s great praise in itself. I’ve always been a great ND fan so enjoyed the music too.
Would thoroughly recommend.

I wanted to see it based on recommendations on this thread, I wasn't aware of it before. Sadly it seems it's moved on from my local cinema. Will have to wait till it goes to Netflix /Prime

It was a lovely film. We really enjoyed it being fans of Neil Diamond music too.

Loved this film even though I sobbed at the end. So glad Kate Hudson got an Oscar nomination.

If the film has wetted your appetite for some Neil Diamond try and catch the tribute show
It’s a beautiful noise with fisher Stevens in it.
He’s currently touring the uk . Well worth seeing

We saw it last night and loved it. Great acting from everyone and great music. Was amazed at how well the two lead actors sang! Lovely film.

This was recommended to me so went to see it the same day. A beautiful film, even if you're not a great Neil Diamond fan.
