Just discovered this on Now TV. Julian Fellowes' Downton for New York in late 19th century. Three series ... should keep me going till spring!

I'm eagerly awaiting season 4. I love it. It is loosely based on the real life social scene, particularly Lady Astor, of the time.

Anything with the sublime Christine Baranski works for me.

I love the 2 older aunts and the scheming Mrs Russel but I find Meryl Streep's daughter very bland as the lead.
