Mel Schilling. Sad day.

Mel Schilling of Married At First Sight fame has sadly died today, aged 54.

I know MAFS is not a high brow programme and many will not know it. For for many it has been a light hearted way of observing the 'experiemt'.

Mel's been on it for years, here and in Australia. Australian one is currently showing [probably made a few months ago], and she looks so well on it.

54, so young and she leaves a 10 year old daughter. I'm surprised I'm so upset, but she is around the ages of my DIL's...and she died on my birthday. So I will always remember it. I liked her. So sad. Cancer destroys too many young people/families.

I wondered why there was an announcement about her before an episode last week.

I am horribly addicted to MAFSAU.

Gransnet should have a MAFSAU forum where sad sacks like me can seek support.

After I watched last nights commitment ceremony this morning I turned to iPlayer news and was sad to read about Mel.
