I found it very moving and it brought me to tears to see how steadfast and dedicated she was in everything she did. There was no ego, just duty. I felt a little unsettled by the time the programme got to Aberfan and also Diana's death. The monarchy was still operating on 'the old system' but the 60s and 70s had moved on so the Monarchy had to show a more human side. The 'stiffness' had to go and a more modern approach adopted. All in all, there won't be anyone like the Queen ever again.

Of course there will. People said that when Elizabeth 1st died, and again after Victoria. They all three lived exceptionally long lives for the age they lived in, came to the throne as young women particularly Victoria, which made them seem like permanent fixtures, and all were hard acts to follow.
