I like him too. I knew he was leaving the Today programme but not that he was going to India. Or maybe you just mean to visit?

From what I’ve read he’s considering a move to India in the future whilst starting his own company here, he’s continuing with University Challenge.

I think he’s an excellent broadcaster.

I wish him luck elsewhere as some people do obviously like his style.

I never used to like him and then he grew on me and I realised he was rather good.

Same here. Not sure if he’s slowed down or I’ve just got used to how fast he talks.
