Celebrity Traitors - 2026 - Line Up Revealed

Not quite as good as last year, but still quite a few easily recognisable names. But unfortunately, they've succumbed and we have a "content creator". hmm

I don't know why they think young people will suddenly start watching it because they've got one of these non-celebrities on it. Young people just don't watch mainstream TV any more.

Only we grumpy old grans and gramps grin

Looking forward to it though.

They thought young people started watching Celeb Traitors due to the viewing figures.

King Kenny is as far from a "non-celebrity" as you can get, he also seems to be the only sports person on it.

My teenage GDs love it and watch with their parents. I think it can be appreciated by teens upwards, if it's your thing’. I understand that some people won’t like it, but that goes for all TV programmes.

I only recognised half of the last lot, which is a fairly good hit rate for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the series, as I always do.

Knowing what someone does in their work is not relevant to seeing how they behave in the programme. I also enjoy the 'civilian' versions where knowing who they are doesn't come into it - we get to know them as the show goes on.

Looking forward to it. I’ve had a read through the list and recognise most of the names. A few I’ve never heard of but I don’t think that matters.

There are a couple I’m not keen on but I felt the same way about Alan Carr before the last series. He grew on me very quickly.

It’s good to have a programme that’s enjoyed by all generations. My 4 grandchildren aged 11 to 19 all love it. If we’re not watching it together we usually chat about it between episodes.

My bad then. Never heard of him, but of course just because I haven't means nothing!

There's enough big names I think to attract last year's viewers and maybe a good few more after the hype surrounding it.

I started watching The Traitors India on BBC iPlayer yesterday. Interesting.

Looks a good line up to me. Glad to see Maranda Hart is in the mix, she's been poorly for a while and lovely to see her back. They have quite a few comedians, plus James Blunt who is also a funny chap , so it's going to be fun program.

Funnily enough it was my millennial AC and Gen Z that watched this. I was rather dismissive of it until I gave in and gave it a try last year. I wasn't hugely interested but it was watchable ish.

However this line up looks quite good. Richard E Grant is one of my favourites so I'll be watching it for him alone

I am watching it too! It has a very different feel, mostly due to the climate I suppose but gone is the Gothic spookiness and it has been replaced with colour, sunshine and lots of sparkle. It has a definately holiday feel! I love the way they slip in and out of English and whatever language they have (excuse my ignorance- I suspect Hindi and or/Punjabi).
There are some clever young women too, and some interesting older ones. The men don't seem to be focussed on so much, but I love the older guy who lurks around pretending to be asleep while listening to all the conversations!
I also think it seems like a 'celebrity' version as most of the cast are employed in the media and seem to know each other. I'm finding it very enjoyable and very different.

To get back on topic though the line-up for our celebrity Traitors looks pretty good and I am so looking forward to it!

I only know 7 on the list and I personally think it’s too soon after the last one, but hey ho hopefully I ll enjoy it.

By the time it's aired BB it will be a year I reckon.

crazyH Sat 02-May-26 21:09:14

I haven’t watched - can’t understand what it’s all about 😫

kittylester Sat 02-May-26 21:26:12

Loved the first one as did my daughters and granddaughters. I have heard of most of them but not all. That didn't matter first time round.

DamaskRose Sat 02-May-26 21:28:59

Maybe watch it and find out CrazyH?

REKA Sat 02-May-26 21:40:10

It's going to be aired Autumn 2026

BlueBelle Sat 02-May-26 21:54:15

crazyH watch it and you ll see it’s really good

Jerry Hall has had a very interesting life, it will be interesting to see what she is like. I’m also looking forward to Michael Sheen, he’s my favourite actor.

Allira Sat 02-May-26 22:05:30

Most I've heard of, some not but it sounds an interesting mix.

nanaK54 Sat 02-May-26 22:48:05

I know 12 of them can't be bad!

Sparklefizz Sun 03-May-26 08:35:37

I shall be glued to it. I'm relieved one or two celebs I find irritating are not in the line up.

Jerry Hall wasn't a favourite of mine when she appeared on Strictly.

All the previous Traitors series (the "civilian" UK series, US, NZ, Australia and Ireland) are on BBC iPlayer, plus India newly added. I am an addict smile

Oreo Sun 03-May-26 08:42:08

Am looking forward to it already 😃

shysal Sun 03-May-26 10:19:33

I have started to watch the Indian version which started on BBC3 last week. I am struggling because concentrating on the subtitles sends me to sleep! Also it is difficult to remember who is who as the names are hard to recall. The dialogue is part English and part not, so sounds odd and not enough English to follow.
I think I might give up but will try again.
I look forward to the UK celeb.one.

keepingquiet Sun 03-May-26 19:47:46

It is always difficult at the beginning to sort out the names of the contestants, but eventually you get to know them really well.

I watch a lot of foreign language programmes so subtitles don't bother me. Also for some speakers they are not needed at all.

I am going to stick with it anyway.

I’m not really a fan of The Traitors but I’ll watch this one because I’ve been a fan of Miranda Hart ever since she was in Hyperdrive.
