My late husband was one of the Rolls Royce workers involved. He was a fitter at the time and his department repaired and serviced Rolls Royce aeroplane engines from across the world. Their leaders, the union men, were inspirational. Ordinary working men who knew right from wrong.

We went to see the film in Edinburgh when it came out, he found it very moving. I now have it saved on my Sky box.

Certainly worth a watch.

Watched this documentary last night,it’s a true story of a group of Scottish workers fighting fascism from half way across the world.
They grounded half of Pinochets air force for over 4 years
It’s a story I,d forgottenthough I knew people who worked in the factory in East Kilbride
I can’t see anyone willing to take the risks these people took in these troubled times .
If you,ve an hour and a half to spare it’s well worth a watch
