Legends

I agree, Eloethan, it is a fantastic watch, and I like the cast. Steve Coogan I can just about accept in this, but thats the only slight fly in the ointment. I recommend it.

I don't usually find much of interest on Netflix, and I don't usually like gangster-type dramas. However, I am finding Legends (which is based on real events) to be absolutely gripping (even though I am not always sure about what exactly is going on). Some brilliant acting.

I'm glad that I'm not the only person who's not sure what's going on, and who's who, but it's gripping, and with a terrific cast.

Best ‘police’ type show I ‘ve seen in ages.

I finished it last night and really enjoyed it. The writer was featured in an article in the times last week and although it’s based on a true story , he explained which parts were added to embellish the story .

Just started watching this last night. As Canadians, having a bit of trouble with some of the accents, but enjoying it overall.

Another vote for Legends

Great writing and dialogue, great casting.
No gratuitous drugs / sex / violence.
The drama level was maintained throughout the series.
Based on true events and dramatised.

There are a lot of different accents. I put the subtitles on.

Eloethan - I agree. I think it's superb & also think Steve Coogan is superb, such a versatile actor. He was also excellent as Stan Laurel in the Laurel & Hardy biopic.

Terrific series. Beautifully acted and scripted. Well worth watching.
