Little Disasters.

I usually moan about these sorts of drama series as they often start well and then fizzle out, but I really enjoyed this and thought it raised some important issues regarding the treatment of pregnant women and the lack of understanding of post-natal depression - which I am sure is much more common than is recognised.

It turned out that the husband of the friend, the one who wanted to start his own business but had no money, can’t remember her name, he was the one who went to the house and between him and Franky the baby rolled off the changing mat. He told the boy his mother would go to prison for leaving the children on their own if he told anyone. So he was scared to. Anyway, the mother was released without charge,had counselling as she seemed to be suffering from PND as she was trying to be the perfect mum. The bad husband was arrested.

All ended up as being good friends again.

This televised version veered from the book considerably.

I thought iut quite good but too drawn out, I think a lot of those 6 parters are though

It's very watchable. There's a few things that just wouldn't happen in the real world but all in all , very good.

Yes, I think a lot of parents would. That’s an interesting question. Would I? I’m not sure, it would depend on whether it was accidental or deliberate.

I binged watched all 6 episodes.

I really enjoyed it and won’t spoil it, but it does highlight some interesting issues.
