Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

TillyTrotter Fri 23-Oct-26 09:02:19

Traitors can only be banished at the Round Table. They are exempt from the Murders.

Really enjoying it never having watched before and is it just me or has anyone else got a bit of a crush on Romesh?

The thing that puzzled me is, Maya and James yawned first.
Shouldn't they have died?

🤔

They did that to try to get a Faithful to yawn.
I really didn't think Ross would succumb, thought he had twigged on to what they were doing.

I do love Romesh and I get that he has a certain allure but not my type.

JenniRen Fri 23-Oct-26 11:12:38

He has gone very quiet since Rob left, or perhaps it's the editing.

Namsnanny Fri 23-Oct-26 11:24:02

If miranda goes, I don't feel invested in any of the others to really care who wins. I don't like the idea of any of the traitors winning though. No pleasing me now my favourites have gone!

I’m new to this, never watched until this series and thought I was hooked but last week’s episodes irritated me for so many reasons, it would take too long to explain.

So, I was in two minds whether to bother watching this week but switched on just to see if the Traitors had managed to murder anyone in plain sight as the sand timer showed they were running out of time.

This was a better episode imo with the Traitors performing very poorly in the mission - except James who played an inadvertently clever game through cowardice. What better than a Traitor not supporting their fellow Traitors?

The Faithfuls really are clueless, aren’t they, although it’s easy for the audience, knowing who the Traitors are.

Miranda should learn to button it and, as a former maths teacher, Romesh should have been able to fit the pieces together to win a shield.

Joanne and James Blunt continue to get on my nerves for being so badly wrong about everything although, to his credit, Blunt was the only one to show some helpful strategy in the mission. Sharon is at last starting to say something of relevance but nobody is listening much.

In Uncloaked, Jerry showed how clueless she really had been but Ross had been much more aware. At last, someone who suspected Maya but, unfortunately, hadn’t spoken up. They will miss him in any future missions that need a bit of muscle.

Romesh could be the next victim. Common sense says the Traitors should want to take advantage of the suspicion Miranda and Joanne now have for one another (and continuing doubts round Leigh Anne) which they could push to their advantage at the next round table. Bash seems too vanilla at this point.

At the moment, it’s looking like an easy Traitor victory although Michael Sheen is also starting to speak up more and is showing some critical thinking skills ... which could put him in danger.

On we go.

I also thought it was a fairly "flat" series - and then enjoyed last night's episode.
I was sorry to see Ross go.
I did find it extraordinary how paranoid he was from the very beginning though!

TillyTrotter Fri 23-Oct-26 13:24:05

Do any of you think some conversations are set up or steered a certain way by the show’s Producing team?
It happens on other Reality shows. Otherwise an episode could be extremely dull.

TillyTrotter Fri 23-Oct-26 13:28:34

i.e. the conversation about Leanne putting lipstick on late at night ; Sharon starting the conversation about the perfume bottle (very soon after it had been used)?

No - they were charged with committing the murder.

Jodieb Fri 23-Oct-26 15:42:01

If they want to find the traiters they should look at the ones that say little.

Fallingstar Fri 23-Oct-26 15:42:19

I think it is going to get a bit boring if they keep voting off faithfuls at the round table and don’t actually suspect a traitor. Was much more nail biting when Hannah was suspected. Am wondering if that is why they contrived a game where the traitors had to take part in a game when stealing pieces of the shield, hoping a faithful would guess who a traitor is. Miranda nearly did. But nobody is mentioning Maya, James, or Kenny, though apparently Ross did suspect Maya but never said anything. If I was there I would look at those whose names have never come up.

BlueBelle Fri 23-Oct-26 16:09:45

nannee49 sorry you have a rival I think Romash is lovely both his humour and himself yes I would nt turn him away

Nannee49 Fri 23-Oct-26 16:22:23

Oh dear BlueBelle if I was a traitor I'd have to invite you to the turret!grin

Oreo Fri 23-Oct-26 17:05:53

There’s a good chance now that at least one of the traitors will make it to the end.

Maya and James are traitors. They were only yawning to make one of the faithfuls yawn. When they did yawn, the traitor had then to say, ‘Am I boring you name’, and that’s how they were murdered.

Am having a family dinner now and will wait to watch until 9 pm so you will know before me what happens tonight fellow Traitors watchers.wine😃

MG55 Fri 23-Oct-26 20:09:36

No … 🙈

Fallingstar Fri 23-Oct-26 21:23:31

Am afraid I am losing my patience a bit, now we have to wait till next week to see who they voted for and this lot are going to vote every faithful off before someone has a lightbulb moment when it is whittled down to so few of them that they must realise how they’ve been played.

TillyTrotter Fri 23-Oct-26 21:31:37

I think Sharon. Whichever, they are both Faithfuls, so another frustrating evening for all except the 3 Traitors

Millie22 Fri 23-Oct-26 21:35:05

You know it's bad when they decide the three most trustworthy people are in fact the three traitors 😂😂😂

That's part of the enjoyment!
The Traitors are playing a good game.

Casdon Fri 23-Oct-26 21:36:31

I think the light was dawning for Romesh by the end tonight, judging by his face.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 23-Oct-26 21:40:16

I actually enjoy the waiting till the next episode as opposed to streaming all episodes

Then again I am as deep as the most shallow puddle.
