Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

ferry23 Fri 02-Oct-26 21:08:31

Banish - Richard

Murder - Jerry, I think she's going to be a liability

nanaK54 Fri 02-Oct-26 21:06:15

Oh no, don't do this to us! grin

Aldom Fri 02-Oct-26 20:29:47

Traitors is rather gruesome tonight!

Jaxjacky Fri 02-Oct-26 20:28:46

Nooo…

I love Traitors, it’s fascinating to watch.Richard shot himself in the foot from the off 😂

BlueBelle Fri 02-Oct-26 18:51:45

Amol has a lot of intelligence he would make a much better traitor than gurney Jo Richard

I’ve never ‘taken to’ Richard, but like Amol who does a lot of charity work with youngsters, hope he stays.

I told DH that some people thought Amol was arrogant. He said, "yes, he probably is but I like him, think he'll be good as a Traitor". I agree.

We're not at all keen on the other one, we don't know why.

Quite a few names I don’t know but I m sure I ll get to know them I didn’t know of Cat last year, but found her a really intelligent young lady and thought she played a brilliant traitor
Don’t know the James chap in the coffin either,
Joe Lynette looked a mess in those shorts 🤣

Well I watched it last night, my first ever episode (after friends had recommended it). Can't say I thought it was great and really couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Should I have watched the previous series first to appreciate what is going on? Am I missing something? Maybe it will grow in me - so many people love it, but at the moment, I can't see why!

Keep going would be my advice, you have only seen a very small part of the game.
Perhaps all will become clear when you have seen a round table.

Yes, I would say stick with it for another episode at least, see how alliances are formed and banishments are decided at the round table.

Maybe it's just not for you. I only started watching it when I saw a clip of the celebrity version on Gogglebox, I was intrigued so I tuned in and got absoluely hooked.

It makes a nice change to see something that's not full of pouty orange girls with strange eyebrows and young men with Turkey teeth and David Beckham like tattoos. Not to mention Kim Jong Un haircuts grin

Like the show a lot and better head off to pedants’ corner with this - Claudia! Surely Claudia or whoever wrote her script, knows the difference between the vets ‘to lie’ and ‘to lay’. When she told the first two potential victims to ‘lay’ in the coffin, nearly had to turn off! But then watched a new pathologist thing ‘Winter’ and someone was told to lay on the sofa. This is so common an error now, I think the battle is lost.

I love James Acaster and was only watching because he's in it. If he's out then I might have to rethink my viewing this month.

tanith Fri 02-Oct-26 13:50:27

I wish Richard would stop with all the gurning faces makes him look idiotic.

Flippin2 Fri 02-Oct-26 13:47:55

I like James Acaster Richard seemed to forget what the game is about and blurted it out and poor Ross ,his paranoia is sky high

Lixy2 Fri 02-Oct-26 13:47:27

My family sweepstake has my money on Amol being a winner. Ho hum! Fingers crossed for the reveal tonight.
(Hannah Fry is my other contender.)

I don’t like James Acaster as a comedian. I’m torn about whether I want him to go or stay - maybe I’d get to like him more if I knew him better.

Visgir1 Fri 02-Oct-26 12:46:37

I think James stays as it was reported he had a Panic attack in the castle and filming stopped, doubt it was on day one?
Richard what a Muppet, hope he gets away with it.

Nannee49 Fri 02-Oct-26 12:40:40

Maybe Richard's gone on holiday by mistake again!

MollyNew Fri 02-Oct-26 12:26:31

The first episode was so much fun. "Claudiapatra" was a great quote from Jerry Hall!

I hope James Acaster stays in, he is very funny. Loving REG so far, I wonder how many scarves he's packed for the show? He is just hilarious but he'll have to work hard to save himself after that blunder.

MarieElla Fri 02-Oct-26 11:45:34

Last night's episode was amazing.
I know almost all the celebrities except for Joanne McNally, had to Google her.
I find her voice annoying and ,suspect her accent is either exaggerated or fake!

JenniRen Fri 02-Oct-26 11:37:16

I thought we'd have to wait until next week to hear the result but it's on again tonight.

Was Richard double bluffing (or triple bluffing) and will it work or was it too obvious?

Perhaps James Acaster might prove to be a good Traitor if kept in but my initial reaction to him (not knowing who he is) was not positive.

Millie22 Fri 02-Oct-26 11:25:08

Last night was so good.

I really like Richard so I'm hoping he stays in.
