I was amazed that not everyone was onto him after he outed himself Graphite.
If you use a computer do you do back ups and hoe often - a precautionary tale.
Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?
I was amazed that not everyone was onto him after he outed himself Graphite.
Exactly, Delila. It gives her (and Kenny) the opportunity to murder Michael, if that’s what they choose to do, and a day of breathing space to divert attention elsewhere but where too?
I do think the remaining Faithfuls have finally, finally cottoned on to needing to look at those they least expect and admit the mistakes they made during the scarecrow mission. They would have been so much stronger if Michael hadn’t turned the heat up on Sharon.
FallingStar. I was rewatching the first episode. It was Richard E Grant who chose James A to go head to head with Amol on that first murderous evening, as he said James was onto him. REG didn’t need anyone to be onto him! He more or less banished himself!
That was in reply to Graphite
I agree that they missed a trick with Joe Lycett. As far as I am aware it is the agents of these celebs who suggest that they take part in the game show in order to raise their profile, though now the show is so popular I imagine even high profile celebs are queuing up to take part. Perhaps James A is at a bit of a tricky crossroads with regard to his career after suffering with his mental health and so decided to give the show a go. I think he should have had a word at the beginning with the production team to say he couldn’t face being a traitor, I know is game with rules that must be followed but there’s nothing wrong with making allowances.
Maya looked (to me) as though she couldn’t hide her contempt for James A’s confession, but in fact he did her a favour, as it diverted the suspicion that was fast closing in on her.
Fallingstar
Poor James A had a bit of a wobble at the round table that was edited out. I think the cross examinations at the table can be a bit much, I certainly wouldn’t like it.
An obviously sensitive man who has gone up in my estimation.
Yes, I’ve been reading about James A’s struggles with his mental health. I watched a clip from an interview he did with Alan Brazil on his talkSport show in 2019 where he was very open about his experiences. This if you can access it:

It makes me wonder why he put himself through this ordeal but presumably felt strong enough at the outset to participate. I suppose the thing is that you can’t go into the game hoping to remain a Faithful, that you will never be put into the position he was at the start - be recruited or murdered. Hannah was the same.
(I still think Joe Lycett would have made a good Traitor. He’s mischievous enough.)
James is getting a bit of flak about his actions last night which I hope he doesn’t take too seriously however many months on we are from filming. It is only a game after all. We shall see when he’s interviewed on Uncloaked this evening, assuming he is.
Maya for the win.....tho I do think that's probably unlikely now
I don’t like either of the surviving traitors.
I’m rooting for Romesh too. But due to his deductions that resulted in revealing James A and throwing Maya into the spotlight I think Michael also deserves to win. If he survives.
Oh well I thought it was funny even if she was a bit over the top with her reaction.
It's just a game.
I would like to see either Romesh or James B to win.

I am with Aveline on Kenny, he just seems really cocky and hasn’t engaged on an emotional level with any of the others.
I know, I know, everyone else loves him, but can’t help how I feel.

Oh Avaline how could you not like Kenny he’s a sweetheart
as is Romash he make me laugh even before he opens his mouth (and is very easy on the eye)
Now both the James I find incredible annoying and James Acaster has spoilt the entire game in my opinion Apparently
( I don’t watch it ) he had a melt down in a Baking programme too. Why on earth put himself up for these programmes if he has problems, oh dear yes I forget the fee is probably tasty.
I don’t mind Maya although I d never heard of her before along with about six others. I think she’s played the game fairly well
On the whole I haven’t enjoyed it nearly as much as past programmes both celebrity and ordinary folk ones seems much slower and more boring to me but I certainly was looking forward to it
I agree.
Love both Romesh and Michael. Kenny is growing on me more and more, he seemed too over-excited when he was first picked to be able to keep the secret.
Why Leanne has not been banished is a puzzle. I thought they had her pinpointed as a Traitor.
The two women who have just gone, Joanne and Sharon, were both very annoying.
I like Maya and thought she was playing a good, steady game but she is ruffled now.
Oh dear the lips Chestnut do people really see a different image when they look in the mirror

That's an interesting article. It explains why people see Maya and Kenny as trustworthy.
What had Joanne done to her lips in that picture? They look like they've exploded. I don't understand why people do that to themselves. Everything now is so fake.

Because I am unfamiliar with the game I wasn’t sure what would happen after James A confessed which is why I asked if he took one for the team to give Maya another day to try to deflect attention away from herself.
She's crumbling, isn't she? She made a big mistake at breakfast and was quite aggressive at the Round Table. She has never been challenged up until now and doesn’t like, does she?
I admit I don’t like her. She’s far too vain. I wish Michael hadn’t swung his attention around to James A else I think she would be gone my now.
I’m also glad to see the back of Joanne. She was useless at the game and I agree she was completely over the top on Uncloaked.
Although he’s very sweet it wouldn’t bother me if Bash was murdered last night as he doesn’t seem to add much. Now that Michael has got himself into top gear and Romesh seems to be thinking hard, I want to see a dramatic finale so I do hope both have survived the night.

Now there are so few of them left, the dialogue becomes more concentrated. Everyone has to contribute something otherwise it's noticeable and that's when mistakes are made and noticed.
If Michael wasn't murdered, I think he or Romesh will win.
Chestnut I'm with you.
Hope Maya goes... and the least said about Joanne the better!
I'm team Michael and find Maya so vain I'm hoping and praying she'll be banished before she murders him.
I agree Kenny is well positioned for winning.
As for Joanne on Uncloaked finding out who the traitors were, it wasn't funny at all, it was just a very annoying attention seeking performance. 🤦♀️ I'm so glad she's gone.
I agree Graphite. Maya was way too defensive and as soon as Kenny said there were 3 traitors I thought that was a big mistake.
I'm sure Michael will have picked up on both so I hope he wasn't murdered last night.
I think Maya's probably in a damned if she does or damned if she doesn't situation now.
Murder Michael and suspicion will be on her, don't murder him and he'll garner enough support to have her banished.
They should have banished her last night - they already knew that James A was a traitor so they could have had 2 for the price of 1.

So how did he know how many traitors there were at the start?
Good point. Forgive me if I am wrong about this as this is the first series I have ever watched so am on a learning curve. I have looked up game rules online and it seems the format may be different in different countries.
Am I right in saying there can be up to five Traitors but they can only recruit when there are only two left?
In episode one, when Claudia picked her Traitors from the blindfolded people at the Round Table, she said she had selected her Traitors (plural) but they would add to their number before the first murder on the second night.
Do they always have to murder if there is a potential victim i.e. someone who doesn’t have a Shield?
What if they had started with five Traitors, say Claudia had picked four from the Round Table and the four had added another one the second night. After that, two were banished, leaving three so too many to recruit anyone else. There would still be three and only a Traitor would know.
Because of what James A did we will never know what the vote might have been. I think Maya would have been banished so did he take one for the team or was he trying to give the Faithfuls an edge?
