Namsnanny

Apparently the final episode of the last CT, featuring Alan Carr, had 14.9 million viewers. The highest for that year. As tv figures seem to be getting lower and they say mainly older people watch, this must be good news for BBC?
I wonder if under 40s are a significant percentage of the audience?

My daughter is in her 40s, and told me she started watching it, so she could relate to office chat amongst the 20-somethings in her team! Now she's hooked, and told me to watch it. 😊

Your daughter sounds switched on Retread, not many people seem to think about how to communicate with different groups. Good for her.
Hope your both enjoying the show👍

watermeadow has a licence. Why do people always leap to accusation?

No accusation of anyone, I'm just stating a fact that you still need a licence regardless of what sort of device you use.
although I've said that "everyone knows this" there may be people who don't. Don't put a meaning into my post that isn't there.

Hope they pick Hannah to stay thought it very unfair that Jerry Hall could stay when she barely lay in the coffin she knew what she was letting herself in for

I wasn't referring to you, but to the general shift in the thread from CT to whether or not watermelon has a licence. Don't put meaning into my post that isn't there either!

Yes, same here harrysgran. I far that the Traitors will see Hannah as the greater threat and get rid of her, but it would be very unfair.

I wonder why celebrities don't watch the earlier versions.
It makes no sense that they wouldn't deduce at least the chance of being buried!

foxie48 Thu 08-Oct-26 10:05:37

Doodledog Apologies, I thought it was targeting me and I was incorrect. flowers

No worries, foxie. It can be difficult to read tone in text. flowers

I thought I heard REG say he had watched all series. Although that would be quite a few as other countries have their own programs. Perhaps he was lying about that too😅
I wouldn't put it past the producers to factor in challenges that target weaknesses or fears of the individuals. Afterall they all have contracts to protect their safety ect. So would have to reveal what they are not prepared to do.
If you get my drift!

If you're looking for fair play in Traitors you're watching the wrong programme.

NotSpaghetti Thu 08-Oct-26 14:03:03

Yes. Celebrities will have "clauses" no doubt about it!

Murder Jerry recruit Hannah - come on!!!

ferry23 Thu 08-Oct-26 20:13:31

Oops, is it either recruit or murder?

Smileless2012 Thu 08-Oct-26 21:05:21

Hannah played a blinder there didn't she grin.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 08-Oct-26 21:08:03

I really hope the traitors do not murder James Blunt 🤞

I would go for Bella.

ferry23 Thu 08-Oct-26 21:19:13

James Blunt is a real asset in the challenges.

TillyTrotter Thu 08-Oct-26 21:21:37

They need to get rid of Miranda - she’s shaping up to be a good sleuth.

Indeed. And I was sure that Miranda, who initially suspected her at breakfast would vote for her but she went with what the others were saying.
I know Hannah is a traitor so I shouldn’t want her to stay but I really do, neither Maya or James seem strong enough characters.

Oreo Thu 08-Oct-26 21:38:07

I think they’ll murder Bella but who knows😂
A good episode tonight, can’t wait for the next one.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 08-Oct-26 21:38:54

Secretly - though he can’t even admit it to himself - REG is going to sooo view his swift exit as a wasted opportunity. He’ll have very much have wanted to stay in that turret a good while longer.

Retread Thu 08-Oct-26 21:43:11

I agree, I thought - when he realised he was done for - REG was rearranging his face to look unconcerned when he was dying inside.

Oreo Thu 08-Oct-26 21:43:45

I still don’t understand what he was thinking!

Visgir1 Thu 08-Oct-26 21:45:50

I think it's going to be James B... He's brilliant

merlotgran Thu 08-Oct-26 21:52:11

I hope it’s not James. I really like him.
