Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

NotSpaghetti Fri 02-Oct-26 23:24:39

Yes hooray!
Something on which we can agree!

I thought Amol was quite humble and gracious on the Uncloked show. He praised other contestants and admitted that he played a poor game. It must be hard to be the first one out.

BlueBelle Sat 03-Oct-26 05:31:44

I like Amol and I think the game would have been better with him in

Amol Rajan first out. How utterly perfect.
Puffed up, pompous bag of wind.
Now, get him off University Challenge where he seems to think his role is to show off that he knows more than anyone else.

He’s excellent on UC. Huge improvement on JP. Now, he was puffed up and arrogant!

What a cliffhanger. I have no idea who will be voted off and Richard may well survive after all although he doesn't deserve to. There is a really good mix of celebs and I like being introduced to the ones I have never heard of.
James is a good addition as a traitor. Choosing Ross to have the advantage was a clever move.

I was quite surprised by the difference in him.

I love James Acaster and aren't Sebastian and Bella great?

Smileless2012 Sat 03-Oct-26 08:27:24

I thought choosing James over Amol was a mistake until he suggested Ross as the one kept 'above ground' for the next task. I think he's going to be the brains in the traitor group and Richard a liability if he survives the first banishment.

I felt sorry for Jerry. I couldn't even have got in and just watching it ignited my claustrophobia.

crissy Sat 03-Oct-26 09:46:07

I like Jerry but she must have known there was a chance she'd be buried alive so why did she agree to take part. She should go now. I want to see more of Richard's squirming out of his predicament and more of Ross's paranoia. Can't believe I feel like this because I'm not a nasty person!! I think James could prove to be ruthless as a traitor. We'll see.

Maremia Sat 03-Oct-26 10:01:47

Look forward to watching this soon.

I do think Amol might have proved to be more protective of his fellow Traitors if picked whereas James seems more likely to betray them. I still have no idea who he is, though, so perhaps I'm misjudging him.

It was tough on Hannah in the pairing up/buried in a coffin task.
I’m liking more of the men than the women at the moment . But maybe that’s how it is being edited, we are seeing the male comedians being funny which comes naturally to them.
I don’t yet know as many of the women.

TillyTrotter Sat 03-Oct-26 12:20:43

Maya’s clothes could upstage Claudia’s 🙂

Fallingstar Sat 03-Oct-26 12:22:22

I love Miranda and the woman who played Hayley in Corrie. Not good on names, sorry.

Aveline Sat 03-Oct-26 12:22:51

James is a very quirky dead pan faced comedian. He's had mental health issues in the past. I think he'll be a brilliant but potentially unpredictable traitor. Goodness knows what he'll say and do. Somehow, although I really like him, I doubt he'll last long.

kittylester Sat 03-Oct-26 12:23:13

But not in a classy way. grin

I have enjoyed all the series of Traitors and am loving this one.

I hope Hannah doesn't get murdered and I hope Richard is banished - he made such a foolish mistake

Oreo Sat 03-Oct-26 12:26:25

Tbh I don’t know who half of the celebs are.
I like the boxer, he’s quiet and may last a long time.I predict that Julie will be out soon, and not a bad thing either🤭

I'm new to watching Traitors (decided to discover what the fuss is about). I'm enjoying it.

Richard E. is a blooming plonker! And not very good at bluffing his way out of his faux pax "double bluff" notwithstanding.

Jerry Hall would drive me up the wall, so I hope Hannah stays.

Aldom Sat 03-Oct-26 12:37:06

I too would like to see Richard banished. He comes over as rather clueless as to how to negotiate his way around the game. Decisions, so far, he has left to others to make.
I'd like to see Julie out of it. She's annoying, ingratiating herself from the start.

Oreo Sat 03-Oct-26 12:41:36

What happened to Richard E Grant’s acting skills?

ferry23 Sat 03-Oct-26 12:49:59

Oreo

What happened to Richard E Grant’s acting skills?

I know I'm going against the grain here Oreo, but I've yet to discover them! He annoys me no end.

Oh no! What a cliff hanger! I can't believe we have to wait almost a week to find out who is banished!

Where have I gone wrong. The death was announced this morning on the radio plus an interview. I thought it was a weekly program, like shysal.

Aveline Sat 03-Oct-26 13:36:09

Really? Or were you referring to the Traitors choosing James A instead of Amol Rajan in the second episode?

Retread Sat 03-Oct-26 13:54:28

My daughter had to explain it to me that there are 2 episodes per week, 1 on Thursday and 1 on Friday.

Thursdays murder victim is known. Friday's banished player is the unknown (cliffhanger).
