It won’t necessarily but advantages include: a bigger screen, better sound although you might need a soundbar for optimum audio, hundreds of channels, the ability to hook it up to other devices easily e.g. free-to-air recording devices, DVD players and games consoles. More sociable if watching with other human company. Better for your eyesight as watching a screen close up heightens the risk of near-sightedness. Access to free to air channels if the internet is down via a TV aerial or Freesat.
