Does anyone else think the animated woolly dog is cute ?
I want one ?

DiscoGran Thu 13-Aug-20 09:42:02

I love that ad too. The way he taps his paw to the music! ?

shysal Thu 13-Aug-20 09:44:44

yes, he is very cute!

Squiffy Thu 13-Aug-20 10:48:50

I hadn't seen it, so just had to G*** it!

Here's a link for anyone else who hasn't seen it:

"Love that feeling?! " - oh yes!

Auntieflo Thu 13-Aug-20 10:58:47

He's lovely Nina. I thought I was being daft at how cute he is

Scribbles Thu 13-Aug-20 10:59:20

TBH that ad is more likely to make me join a rival organisation because I wouldn't want the AA to think that horrid, jangly noise worked!

jaylucy Thu 13-Aug-20 11:00:43

I wonder if anyone could knit one ???

humptydumpty Thu 13-Aug-20 11:40:32

I was hoping it might be possible to buy one via the AA website but sadly not...!

ninathenana Thu 13-Aug-20 12:05:58

Thanks humpty saved me looking.

I think they're missing a trick there.
Andrex dog springs to mind.

FindingNemo15 Thu 13-Aug-20 12:45:43

The Meerkats also spring to mind!

My dog sits waiting for it then stands in front of the tv barking loudly, even though I keep telling him it's not a real dog.
Maybe he should get out more too!

Good to get an enjoyable advert. The dog is so cute. Better than some of the very annoying adverts we have to suffer.

shandi6570 Mon 17-Aug-20 16:50:38

Oh that made me laugh specki, just what I needed after a phone call from my DD about my GDG and the farcical A level results.

sodapop Mon 17-Aug-20 17:45:29

We love that ad as well ninathenana so simple but effective

lovebeigecardigans1955 Tue 25-Aug-20 16:58:13

Yes, he's lovely. I wonder who made him.

LullyDully Tue 25-Aug-20 19:37:05

I have also fallen for that dog. A dog that is that cute, doesn't bark or need picking up after. My mind of dog. I would like one to go with Snoopy who is over 40 now.

rockgran Tue 25-Aug-20 19:55:27

I like the dog but the advert was wasted on me - I never even realised it was the AA.

Tangerine Tue 25-Aug-20 21:47:46

It's my favourite advert. I was only saying so the other day to a friend.

lemongrove Tue 25-Aug-20 21:51:57

Our children used to have a dog like that ( a soft toy) called Sprocket it was from a childrens tv show that was all puppets.
In fact when I saw the add I thought that it was Sprocket.
I shall have to google it now to find out the tv show name.

lemongrove Tue 25-Aug-20 21:56:12

The tv show was Fraggle Rock!

Auntieflo Sun 30-Aug-20 14:07:46

I bet a clever person could make one of those shaggy dogs, with a couple of cotton mop heads.

eazybee Sun 30-Aug-20 14:45:05

You mean he is not real?
